Later night:

Nat's pov:

I walk along the beach, away from the crowd and sat on one of the rocks, listening to the music playing afar.

I think back to the times Letty and I used to come to the beaches back at home, to get away from father when he got a bit out of control. And when me and Dom made it official, we were sat on a beach just like this. I smile at all the old memories.

"There she is." Dom says, coming up behind me. I turn around and give him a small smile.

"I hear Rio is nice this time of year." I say to him sadly. I don't really want to go to Rio I just want go home. I think Dom noticed, because he sat next to me, gave me a kiss on the head and said, "We'll be home soon, bebita." He says soothingly to me.

  (Baby girl).

"The cops are getting hungrier." He tells me. I nod.

"Then I guess we are doing our job." I remind him. This will be over before we know it, I just gotta keep telling myself that.

"Ride or die, remember?" I tell him.

"Ride or die." He says giving me a kiss.

 A few weeks later:

Nat's pov:

Normally, Letty had gave me a quick call telling me she was okay but she hasn't and it gets me really worried. That worried, I want to go home just so I can she she is alright but Dom wont let me.

Dom comes up to me and takes me over to my car and helps me fix the engine.

A few hours later, a small Dominican boy comes up to us.

"tienes una llamada."Dom looks at me confused but I just shrug my shoulders and let the young boy show us to the phone. (You've got a call).

I answer the phone and hear Mia's voice, "Hello?" She says, she sounds like she's been crying.

"Mia, it's Nat, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Is Letty okay?" I ask getting worried.

"Nat, it's Letty." She pauses. "She's been murdered."

I drop the phone, so it dangles on the cord. I fall to my knees. Tears streaming from my eyes.

"NOOOOO! My baby. My baby girl. She's gone!" I scream from the top of my lungs. Dom drops to my side and helps me stand up. My knees start giving up on me so Dom picks me up.

"Shhhhh. Baby what's wrong? Who's gone?" He asks me concerned.

"Leticia. She- she's been murdered." I burst into tears again. Dom holds me tight and walks us to the beach.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After I calm down a bit, tears still slowly falling down my cheeks. I am cuddled into Dom's chest, as he's sat down and back against a tree trunk.

"It's all my fault. M-my hermanita. She- she's gone. She's d-dead."

"None of this is your fault, Nat. The only person responsible for Letty's death is the person who murdered her. And we are going to find out who it is and make them suffer like they did to Letty, to you and to the rest of us."

I nod. "But first, we have to go to her funeral. Even if we aren't officially there, we have to be able to see it. She's my baby sister. My responsibility."

He nods. "Come on. Let's get packing and head home."

I've waited to hear them words for a long time. I just didn't think it would be for this reason.
