The next day

Vegeta rubbed his eyes tiredly the next morning. He doubted he got any sleep as he was thinking of what Goku's reply would be. All he hoped was that he would forgive him.

He walked slowly downstairs, then heard voices. It sounded like Goku had come back to C.C. to sleep and was now talking to Bulma. As he neared, they suddenly went quiet.

He sat next to Bulma on a bar stool, trying to avoid eye contact with Goku, until she stood up and left the two alone in the kitchen. Now they had no choice but to talk to each other.

"Kakarot I-"

"Vegeta lemme jus-"

They both stopped to stare at each other and laughed. Goku moved closer to him and rubbed the back of his neck. "C-Can I start?" Vegeta nodded slowly and sipped his coffee.(lol pls don't ask where it came from)

Goku sighed then chuckled nervously before continuing. "You know Vegeta, everything you said to me was mean....but after a lot of thinking, I'm going to give you another chance. Not because of the food though! It's because, I sorta get how you don't want to be a bad parent to this kid, and it's stressful now, knowing we're going to be parents to our very own child. So, um, yeah. I forgive you."

Vegeta sighed and rested his head on the counter. "Kakarot?" "Hmm?" He smiled at Goku, reached for his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, "thanks."

They smiled at each other before noticing Bulma at the top of the stairs sniveling. "Bulma, what's your problem?" Vegeta rolled his eyes at her and continued sipping his coffee.

"Well, you two made up right?" "Yeah?" "Great! Cuz I have a gift you two and I know you'll love it!" "Depends, is it some weirdass sex toy?" "Vegeta!" "What? You haven't lived with this woman for years, have you?"

Goku kept quiet and urged Bulma to continue. "Just lemme get dressed and we can go!" After a few minutes, she came back downstairs with her car keys and a capsule. She stuffed the capsule in her pocket and called the boys to follow her outside.

She drove them to the same spot she found them on after the party, the snow there almost completely melted. Goku and Vegeta walked around enjoying the scenery while Bulma stomped her foot in different places.

When she was satisfied, she called them over to look at something. "I present to you," she threw the two capsules on the ground and fanned away the smoke surrounding her face "your house!

Nothing could explain the feeling the two had. They were shocked, happy, a little upset that she didn't tell them and all round thrilled. "Bulma this is awesome! When did you make this?! How long did it take? Do we have to pay for this?!" Goku shook Bulma all the while staring at the house.

Vegeta took a step closer to it and gave it a one over, decided between hugging Bulma or questioning her choice in giving them a house. He just went with the first choice and brought her into his arms.

"Thanks. You're incredibly annoying, but thanks." "Gee thanks for the compliment, and you're welcome, both of you!"
