I try as discreetly as possible to take a picture of the handsome guy sitting at the lounge of the oh so small coffee shop. I manage to snap a good picture when a voice startles me. "Mam? Were you just taking a picture of me?" Amusement laced the mans words. I looked up and sure enough it was the guy I was taking a picture of. Up close he was even more beautiful. His forest green eyes started into my hazel eyes and his cheekbones high and jawline prominent. His dark hair stood out in contrast to his grey beanie that was messily placed on his head as if he was in a hurry this morning. But on him it looked hot. Made no sense to lie now since he saw me. "Yes I was actually." I smoothly said back. " And why is that?" I looked up, staring deep into his eyes while I answered,"well it's not everyday you see a handsome guy walk into a coffee shop, so might as well make some memories."I shrug. He laughs a deep rich laugh that makes me shiver although its warm inside the coffee and freezing outside. That reminds me did I bring a thick enough jacket? What if I didn't? How cold is it- my rambled thoughts were cut short when the guy asked me another question, " what are you going to do with it?" I sigh. What is this twenty one questions. "Oh yah know put it as my wallpaper and call you potential bae. Show my friends. Gush over how hot you are and wish I could get a guy like you. The usual." By that time I finish my sentence I'm pretty sure I'm blushing like a mad man but I don't let it faze me. He smiles a huge smile as if my confession didn't affect him. As if he heard it a million times before. I narrow my eyes at him and take in his apparel. He is wearing a layered jacket with a plaid shirt beneath. A necklace hangs from his neck that is hidden beneath his shirt. His hands lay on the counter with what looks like calloused fingers. As if he played the guitar a lot. His jeans were a dark was color that hung extremely low on his hips yet he wasn't sagging. "How about we change that?" He asks. I snap put of my thinking, realizing I wasn't paying attention. "What?" I dumbly ask. He rolls his eyes knowing that I wasn't listening. "I said how about we change me being potential bae to actual bae?" I coughed on the little air I was breathing. "What!!" Was my smart reply. "We're strangers. You don't even know me!" I say. "Let's change that too. How long is your break?" He ask. I look at him unsure if I should answer but I do anyways,"five minutes ". I mean it was a short break but the coffee shop was always busy. Since its one of the best selling coffee shops in New York. He hums in reply as he thinks something over. He finally stops thinking and opens his mouth,"Okay, I will come here everyday you have your break and we will spend that five minutes getting to know each other." My eyes widen at his response. "And what if you don't show up?" I ask. He does a smirk so dangerous that it has me weak in the knees, " oh I will show up. I might be late but I will show up. Just know to have a hot chocolate ready for me everyday I walk in. Thought you could get rid of me so easily now? Nope." He glances down at my name tag before continuing his little speech, "I'll see you around Valentine. Don't forget. Ill be here tomorrow at 3:55" I roll my eyes but nod in reply still not totally convinced he would show up tomorrow. He begins to slowly back away from the counter,"hey wait I didn't get your name!" He gives another smirk I began to love seeing on his beautiful face. "It's Matthew." And with one last wave he was out of the coffee shop and out of my life into the cold busy streets of New York. " GET BACK TO WORK VALENTINE!" I jump from the sound of my mean boss Celeste and get back to work. Shaking my thoughts of Matthew out of my mind.

If this is what I get for taking a picture of a handsome man then I should take pictures a lot more often.
