It was the beginning of winter, the first few flakes of snow hitting the ground, slowly covering the sidewalks and grass with its white color. People stood under the over hang on the school building; trying their best not to be colder then need be. A young woman sat on the bars of the bike rack just outside of the doors to the school, holding her body as she was shivering.
"A little cold, yeah?" A man said as he had walked up to her, startling her a little, he moved his head getting his golden blonde hair out of his face.
"Y-yeah j-j-just a little" The woman shivered more as she spoke, her green eyes locking with his crystal blue eyes.
"You're always cold aren't ya, shortie" The man chuckled out as he patted her on the head, she squinted her eyes at him.
"I'm not short! I'm a-average. I'm only 5'6'' " She crossed her arms, visibly a little upset at his words. "Ava-" She said quietly.
"Hm??" He looked at her as he raised a brow.
"My name is Ava," She looked at him as she shyly smiled, "Yours is?"
"Jaycub-" The male smiled as he sat next to her on the bike rack, Ava smiled more.
"Nice to meet you," She nodded her head. 'I'm nicknaming him titan.' Ava thought to herself for a moment.

The last bell rang throughout the hallway; people flooding out of their classes like usual. Ava walked out the doors, her eyes narrowing as she passed by her toxic ex. She slammed her bag down (probably breaking something) as she sighed.
"Hey shortie, how was school?" Titan asked as he walked up to Ava.
"Ughhhh-- it was so stressful-" She complained as she plopped down next to her bag, putting her head in her hands.
"What was so stressful about it?" He asked as he sat down next to her, "Do you need a hug?"
"I had a test today, I'm fairly sure I failed it- and-- maybe I don't know." She huffed as she crossed her arms, trying not to cry in front of him.
"You probably did well, knowing you" He admitted as he shrugged, "You're really smart Ava." He complemented her.
"I-... I'm not that smart." She rolled her eyes, "But thanks anyways." She looked at him as she smiled widely, he smiled back at her. She felt her heart begin to race, she looked away awkwardly. "I'm cold-"
"You're always cold, you're like a- reptile" Jaycub said as he began to laugh.
"I am not a reptile!" Ava yelled as she hit his arm.
"Then show me your teeth." He laughed as he placed his hands around her shoulders, "For real though, you're always cold." He said as he rubbed her arms.
"Yeah, well you're always hot." She said as she leaned towards him. He was always hot; he had the body of a god.
"Well I didn't wear a jacket today. Maybe if you had dressed like me, you wouldn't be as cold." He said as he smirked.
"I was outside in the cold and snow for a few minutes before you talked to me. You should be the one freezing." She said to him.
"Alright, if you're so cold, we'll go back inside." He said as he kissed the top of her head.
"Can we please go back inside though? I'm freezing." She said as she snuggled into his neck.
"Well you shouldn't have gone outside if you were going to be cold." He said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and walked her towards the exit.
"I know. I'm sorry. I wanted to get some fresh air." She said.
"Yeah, fresh air is nice and all, but you should really wear a jacket." He said as he smiled at her.
"I know." She said as she smiled back at him. "I'll wear a jacket next time."
"Alright." He said as they walked hand-in-hand back inside.
