I set my alarm for 6:00 sharp in the morning. I put on my red hoodie and jeans. I always wait for my best friend Katie at the bus stop. But I was in a rush today. I hurried on to the bus and felt a shiver running down my spine when Katie was in the back of the bus talking to the "cool kids" I was left all alone by my best friend.
When I arrived at Hampton high school I rushed to my locker right when I got my books the bell rang I was late for class again. Hopefully she wouldn't notice me I ducked my head as I walked into the classroom. " Late again Avery." I ran to my seat and sat down the guys behind me were playing with my hoodie. They were mocking me. "Late again." They said over and over. I couldn't take it anymore. When the bell rang I walked up to Mrs. Shelby and asked if I could move seats. She simply shook her head no. I could already tell this day was going to be terrible.
