Hunter laughs as she chases her siblings, Travis and Aidyen. Her father was waiting outside for them. Hunter ran up to her dad, smiling happily. Her dad grabbed her hand as they headed to the car. Aidyen and Travis was already there, fighting about who sits up front.
"Daddy, where's mommy? She should be part of this family club thing." Hunter asks. Mr. Ashford smiles a bit before saying, "Your mother is proudly watching you from up there." He points at the sky. Hunter thought it meant she was dead. Hunter tears up as her dad lifts her up to place her in the car.
Finally, after a long 15 minutes, they reach the park. Storm clouds surrounded the sky, but it didn't rain. As her father pushed Hunter on the swing while Travis and Aidyen played in the pavilion nearby, there was a rumbling sound coming from the sky. Mr. Ashford didn't hear it, because Hunter was squealing. Then it grew louder and Mr. Ashford heard it.
His eyes widen and he calls for the kids to stay in the pavilion. Hunter's foot got stuck in the swing and Mr. Ashford helped her out of it. As they ran, a huge flash flashed across the sky. A bolt came straight for Hunter but her father ran in front of her and unfortunately, was struck. He fell to the ground. Hunter kneeled down and sobbed "Daddy don't go, please don't go!" Mr. Ashford smiled as he whispered, "I can finally be reunited with the love of my life. I love you Hunter. Tell Travis and Aidyen that I love them too. Goodbye Hunter, darling." His heart stopped and Hunter kept screaming at her dead dad to wake up.
---------
Hunter woke up, shaking slightly. She drinks some water to calm down and she got dressed slowly. It hurts Hunter that her father was never reunited with her mother, because after all this time, her mother, the goddess, Briana, was never dead.
