Chapter 15

"You came surprisingly close to telling the truth about your dad there." Katsuki says once we are alone in the dorms.
"Lies are best when woven from the truth." I state.
"I didn't think of it like that." He says.
"Probably because you never had to." I say. "And thanks for trying to de-escalate out there."
"Yeah, no problem. I'll always have your back." He says.
"It's good to hear that someone here is... After tonight." As I finish saying it there is a knock on the dorms front door. Katsuki goes to answer it.
"Aiko! The purple haired zombie is here!" Kastuki yells for me. I go to the door.
"Hey, it really wasn't cool what those kids did. They used to say I'd become a villain too so I get it. If you need someone to talk to I'm here." Shinsou says.
"I'm glad to hear it but I don't think you should be making promises like that." I say.
"Why?" Shinsou asks.
"Because Stain never found that other family for me... And my brother is the same age as his son.... He's also the same age as the guy who 'kidnapped' me tonight." I say putting air quotes around kidnapped. Katsuki dramatically gasps.
"How could you? You never told me." He says in a clearly over dramatic tone.
"Shut up you knew! I told you when Shoto got him locked up." I say to Katsuki.
"Yeah I just got to mess with you some times." He says.
"You 2 are weird." Shinsou says.
"And you're so normal?" Katsuki's eyes go blank.
"So it's not my quirk... it's just you." Shinsou says.
"You think?" I ask. Then I body slam Katsuki into the wall. Snapping out of it he falls on his ass. He looks up at me.
"You used to be so nice and cute......... Now your just hot." He says. "What the hell happened?"
"Oh, my bitch stepmom had me hypnotized when I was a baby so I couldn't use the ice side of my quirk. So she'd have more leverage to kick me out. The hypnotist set a trigger that I'd get my ice after heartbreak..." I explain.
"But you had ice before you broke up with Todoroki..." Katsuki points out.
"Yeah I found him going though Junichiro's underwear drawer." I say.
"Have you told Junichiro?" Katsuki asks.
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"I've been busy."
"With what?" Shinsou asks.
"Um... Finals, then the training camp then a rescue mission, and then the licensing exam. All while he's been on consecutive tours. It's a little hard to sit down and talk. He hasn't really been home much since finals." I answer.
"Do you have family besides your brother and dad?" Shinsou asks.
"Not really..." I say.
"Oof" he says. "Well I'd better get going."
"Ok, bye" I say.
I head to my room after saying goodnight to Katsuki. I call Junichiro.

(Junichiro's pov)
"This girl is on fire, she's walking on fire, this girl is on fire" my phone starts singing. I answer.
"Hey Aiko. What's up?" I just got out of the shower and need to get dressed so I put my phone on speaker and put it down.
"I just wanted to talk a lot of shit went down after I got back." She says.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"I just need to clear my head of some stuff."
"You never really told me why you broke up with Icy-Hot."
"He... He made me choose between him and Tsuki-chan..."
"Ok and what was your first reason?" I yell though my shirt as I'm putting it on.
"What do you mean?"
"You always give 2nd chances... So what was the first one?"
"I caught him going though your underwear drawer." Suddenly I hear Dabi behind me.
"My little brother did what?" He says.
"Oh! I kinda thought you were alone" Aiko says.
"I was!" I say.
"What? I can't check on my situationship partner, and get the hot goss about my brother?" Dabi says.
"Is it just Dabi there?" Aiko asks.
"Yeah, and Dabi lock the door." I say. Dabi does as I ask. "Ok, no one else in coming in" I finish changing.
"Hey so I passed the exam today. But Shoto and Katsuki both failed." Aiko says.
"At least I don't have to worry about my brother for a bit. Although you are damn scary." Dabi says.
"Yeah, most of my class and 2 other classes learned that today..." Aiko says.
"What on earth did you do?" I ask.
"Well it started with gasslighting a teacher, but then turned into another student trying to brainwash me and it not working. Then it escalated to Shoto accusing dad of sexual violence. So then I winded him in front of 3 classes from my school. And the best part is Endeavor showed up and took my side."
"Wow he must really want you to marry Shoto..." Dabi says.
"Or just be part of the family.." I say.
"Or be his protégé or something..." Aiko adds. After a moment she says "I could just fuck Shoto over by getting really close with Fuyumi and Natsuo..."
"That sounds like a great idea." I say.
"Yeah, sounds like a good way to get back at him." We are all quiet for a bit, before Aiko pipes up.
"By the way I cracked 4 vertebrae and broke 2 ribs this afternoon..." Aiko says fairly casually.
"Is that what caused your miscarriage?" I ask.
"She had a miscarriage?" Dabi asks.
"A block of rubble fell on my back during the exam."
"Jesus fucking christ kid!" I yell.
"Did they carry you out on a stretcher?" Dabi asks.
"No... I walked out... I didn't even notice till Tsuki-chan touch my back earlier this evening."
"Jesus fucking Christ me and dad never hit you that hard in training!" I cry out.
"What are you made of!" Dabi says. "Your sister is fucking terrifying babe" Dabi whispers to me.
"Also Mina thinks I get scarier everytime I come up..." Aiko says innocently.
"I agree. But for me it's every other time." Dabi admits.
"Awe your scared of a 15 year old?" Aiko teases.
"Well to be fair you've aimed a gun at me and threatened to shoot me with it, and your period cramps are about as bad as cracking 4 vertebrae and breaking 2 ribs." Dabi explains.
"Yup. Ok. Sure." Aiko agrees a little too easily. "Just remember that if you hurt my brother!" She sounds cheery.
"Was that a threat?" Dabi asks slowly.
"Nope. Not at all." Aiko responds.
"Anyways you should get to bed, it's late." I say.
"Ok. Have a good night." She says and hangs up the phone.
