Monday, September 8th , 2012.
First day of 10th grade
"Manimani , get up!" My momma shook me makin my eyes flutter open. I'm actually excited for the first day. Sophomore year with my same friends!
"Hey ma." I said gettin up fixin my bed.
"GoodMorning baby. Imma go make sum oatmeal for you." She said.
"Ok ma. Imma go get ready." I said as went to the bathroom and washed my face , brushed my teeth & went in my room changing into my outfit. A white Nike fitted crop top , light blue ripped jeans & my Air Force 1s.
I shouldn't wear air forces on the first day cuz nobody seem to kno how to walk onna first day. Steppin all on my shoes , but imma be careful.
I fixed my hair , which was some box braids. I laid my edges & grabbed my shoes , my backpack & all my essentials & walked to the kitchen seein my oatmeal on the counter.
"Thank u ma." I yelled as she was gettin ready for work.
"You welcome baby. Hurry & eat it's gettin late." She said.
"Ok!"
About 10 minutes later I finished all my food & I put my bowl in the sink slipping on my shoes & grabbin my book bag. I already talked to Von & durk , we was gon meet at 7:45 cuz schoo start at 8 which was soon so I need to gooo.
"Bye ma. I love you. Have a good day at work." I hugged her.
"Ok baby. Have a good first day & tell the boys I said that too & I love y'all." She said lettin me go.
"Ok ma." I said running out the door walkin down the at the end of the street to meet Durk & Von half way.
"Y'all wanna be like me sooo bad." I laughed seein Von & durk had on a white Nike shirt with Air Forces on too , with both of their dreads freshly retwisted & nice haircuts & smell good , my boys be so fresh..
This not even the matchin fit we had got. Great minds think alike.
"Getcho lame asss." Von said laughing as he hugged me. "U look real good Lil Mani." Von said smilin.
"Damn ain't that sum shit." Durk said huggin me. "U look raw Baby M." Durk smiled.
"Thank y'all. Y'all look raw per usual. & y'all smell good." I smiled as they said smiled too.
"Y'all readyyy!" I said excitedly.
"Hell yeaaa! Hopefully it's sum bad hoes In there I can take to homecoming." Von said makin me laugh. He sum else.
"Im geeked to see our schedules no lie. Hopefully we got all the same classes together like freshman year." Durk said as we walked down the street.
"Nahhh frrrr! IMMA be slight blew if we ain't got no classes together."
"On David." Von said.
"Same corner store trip?" Von asked.
"Hell yea!" Durk said.
