SECRET OBSESSION

CHAPTER 1

For the first time, Mikaela had her first step at her Father's company. She finally graduated from college and got a Degree in Business Management. Now she turns Twenty One and her father decided to introduce her in his business partners.

Business is the last thing on her mind but she has no choice but to set aside what her heart really desires. Mikaela is more passionate in Photography like her Mom, who died Four years before she graduated from High School. Mikaela is a brat. Knowing that she's an only child. What she want is what she get. But not the course she wanted to take. Her father decided to enroll her in Business Management class. Dealing with numbers everyday is the toughest day of her life. She hates numbers actually. It gives her a lot of headache and struggle a lot with her studies. But despite of that she study hard for her Dad. She don't want to fail him. She's the only one he have after her Mother died from cancer.

After Four years, she survived and finally get her diploma.

She know that this time will come, and there she is confidently walking in her red high heel which made her look more sophisticated and elligant in her formal attire. She walks with a strong personality.

"Hi Ma'am. Good morning. May I help you?" the front desk lady asked her with a smile.

She just smirked at her and give her an irritated look.

"To the office of Mr. Sarmiento, please." She answered.

"Do you have an appointment Ma'am?" she asked her.

"No, can you just please tell me where is the office of Mr.Sarmiento?" she said in high voice. She's not on the mood for agruing and explaining her self to that lady. All she have on her mind is to see her father and meet all the business partners of their company,  and after that she can finally set her mind free. And do her thing.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but I can't allow you.
Mr. Sarmiento is in a meeting right now. If you want Ma'am you can go back tomorrow and.."

Mikaela interrupt her and she don't want to hear the next words from the lady in front of her.

"I am Mikaela Sarmiento, the only daugher of the owner of this company. Are you happy now? So, if you don't mind can you just give me the exact location where my Father is? If you still love your job." she sarcastically asked her with crossed arms and rolled her eyes.

"I'm really sorry Ma'am. Mr. Sarmiento is at the 18th Floor at the right side the conference room is located." The lady said in trembling voice. Some of the employees is starring at them and she can hear some muttered around her.

"She's the only daughter of Mr.Sarmiento, I thought she's nice just like her father."

'Yeah i thought so.

She looked freak.

And mean.

She just rolled her eyes once again.

She don't want to mind about them. Mikaela take the elevator right away and finally reached the 18th Floor and straightly walks toward the door of the conference room where her father is. She wanted to give them a good impression about her. So She took a deep breathe and confidently open the door with a smile on her face. All eyes was on her, like she looks like a famous celebrity. Her father walk towards her and started to introduce her to all his business partners.

But only one person that catched her attention, is the guy in black business suit beside her father. She smiled at him but he ignored her. He looked older than her but he looks so hot and handsome. Mikaela never been interested in any guy even in her university before while studying, not until she had her first glance at this guy. There's something more about the guy that she wanted to know him more. He has a mysterious look but it makes him look very attractive. But she don't like the way the guy ignored her presence. Like she is not existing.

"What' s wrong with this guy? She asked in her mind.

Mikaela has that eyes catching charm that any guy can fall for her. But what about this guy in front of her? Don't he find her beautiful and sexy in his eyes? It's a big challenge for her and she can't let the chance of making that guy fall for her. She smiled like a devil on her mind.

The conference meeting was great. And Mikaela knows that she need to know more about her Father's company. How to handle it and how to run a the business. They said real business world is more different from what you have studied. You have to learn more about it when your in an actual situation.

But for her nothings more great than Enzo. That guy is the only person who catched her attention for the whole time.

"Mika, can I just sneak out for awhile? Her Dad asked her. I just need to meet an important client at the lobby. I'll be right back after few minutes. Enzo will guide you to my office and wait for me there." Her father explained.

"Sure. Just go on Dad. I'm fine. Don't worry." She just smiled at him. Now she will have an oppurtunity to talk more with Enzo.

"Let's go. This way Ma'am". She started to walk and follow him.

"Lorenzo, right?"

"Yes, ma'am. But you can call me Enzo." he formally replied at her with out giving her a single look. He is really trying to avoid her.

"Okay. By the way just drop the ma'am, you can just call me Ela." she said with a smile. Her father called her Mika but she wanted this guy to call her as Ela. He stopped  from talking and Mikaela has no choice but to follow him on his father's office. She can feel that the guy is not comfortable talking to her and a little bit irritated with her.

She sit on the couch while starring at the hot guy in front of her. "Do you want some drinks or anything?" he asked her seriously.

"No, thanks." She replied. Mikaela don't want him to leave even just a single second. That guy has that magnetic force that made her fall for him that easily. To a total stranger. Not a stranger now. She knows his name already.

Enzo is avoiding her and she can really feel that. He made his self busy in arranging the documents on the table. She just can't sit like that without asking anything about Enzo. So she started walking towards the book shelf where she can find a lot of books regarding business.

"How long have you worked here?" she asked him. She felt regret for not giving any interest in her Dad's company before. She could meet Enzo as early as now. He is Ten years older that her but you can't see it from his physical looks. He has a good body built. Maybe it's because he go always to the gym and he has proper food intake.

"I've been working here for Seven years." he replied without giving any glance at her.

Enzo is a son of one of her Dad's friend. As far as she can remember, his father offered him with a high position. But Enzo didn't accept it. He said that he wanted to work without the help of his father. And Mikaela secretly admire him for that. Aside from being hot and hadsome Enzo is a hard working person too. He wanted to work on his own.

But Mikaela felt that Enzo is distancing himself from her and she needs to find out why. Is she don't look intimidating to him?

After a few minutes her father came.

"Hey, honey. Are you hungry? It's almost lunch break let's take a break." Her dad asked her.

Actually she really don't want to go. But her Dad will notice something if she will and she don't want to make Enzon more comfortable with her presence.

"Sure Dad. She replied with a smile.

"Enzo do you want to come with us?" He asked.

"No sir. I'm fine. Just go on. I need to do somthing." Enzo replied.

She took a deep breathe. Knowing that Enzo will not come because He is avoiding her.

Mikaela know it's not the last time that she will see Enzo. She's part of the company now and Enzo has nothing to do with it but to make his self comfortable with her presence. She secretly smiled.
