My One Wish

Chapter 7

Crystals POV:

Liam took off running into the woods and I followed. When we were pretty deep into the woods, i smelled a sweet scent. I looked over and saw Liam shaking his head. I then realized that the scent I smelled was human blood...and I wanted the blood. I took off running. I heard someone beside me and growled. The person growled back. "Back off Niall." I said. "No way. You're so not killing my mate." He he whispered back. He pulled ahead. No way was I going to let this baffoon take my dinner. I realized that we were close to the scent. As we rounded the corner I saw her. A girl about my age with caramel hair and deep, deep green eyes, like mine just darker was laying on the ground with a gash in her arm. I could tell it was fresh.

I shrieked in triumph and lunged. Just as I was about to make contact with her I stopped. Her eyes widened in fear. I backed away, slowly, horrified at what I had been about to do. I felt stong arms grasp me and pull me in. I just crumpled to the ground and started sobbing. I heard a voice.

"Shh. Everything is alright. Nothing happened." I heard Liams soothing voice.

"NOTHING?!NOTHING?!THAT WITCH ALMOST DRAINED MY MATE ON PURPOSE!" Niall shrieked. I looked at his blurry outline and saw him put a protective arm around the girl.

"It wasn't her fault. Shes a newborn and she can't contol herself. You know that!"Liam shot back.

"Whatever. Just get her out of here." Niall sighed. Liam pulled me away. Wewent in the opposite direction and found a juicy wolf to drink. It was soooooooo big we had to share it together. Even though the incindent earlier was pretty bad, this must have been the best day of my life.
