Karan calls Teja, and she picks it up
Karan: teju kitne din ho gaye hai hum mile nahi hai. Pls aaj dinner saath mai kare
Teja: nahi Sunny aaj mai thori busy hu, but I promise hum weekend par zaroor dinner saath mai karenge. Accha ab mujhe shot dena hai mai jaa rahi hu
Teja cuts the call
Teja(thinking): I know Sunny ki mai tujhe abhi thora sa tarpa rahi hu but I promise the surprise I am going to give u will be the best surprise of your life. I am going to propose u aur uske baad hum apni puri zindagi saath mai spend karenge. I am doing all the arrangements myself kyuki hum dono ke life ka itna khaas din mai kisi aur par nahi chorna chahti hu. I want to do it myself and isiliye I am unable to give time to u. But I promise iske baad tujhe koi shikayat nahi hogi
Teja(to her manager): mujhe kuch important kaam hai so I am leaving, and I have packed up for today so u can go home
Teja leaves
Karan(thinking): yaar meri laddoo kitna kaam karti hai, I should help her to relax. I think mujhe uske liye uske favorite flowers bhejne chahiye
He calls her manager
Manager: ji sir
Karan: I am sending Teja's favorite flowers for her. Aap usse pls uski vanity mai rakh dijiye ga so that she gets surprised after she is back from her shot
Manager: lekin unka to aaj pack up ho gaya hai
Karan get surprised
Karan: wasn't she busy today? Uska to abhi shot baaki hai na
Manager: no sir, I think aapko koi misunderstanding hui hai. Ma'am ka aaj ka shoot khatam ho chuka hai. Even I am at my home
Karan: Haan shayad mujhe hi koi misunderstanding ho gayi hogi
Karan cuts the call
Karan began overthinking
Karan(thinking): is she trying to distance herself from me? Is she sick of me? Why did she lie to me? Kahi usse mujhse breakup to nahi katna hai.....no no I am overthinking.....I will confront her about it. Mujhe overthink nahi karna chahiye
But still he did overthink. To get rid of his thoughts, he went to mall and grabbed beer and began drinking. He wasn't that drunk and was in his senses. But what he saw in front of him shocked him to core. He saw the lift opening and Teja in a compromising situation with some guy.
Karan was shattered. His heart broke into million pieces. The pain he felt was similar to a sharp physical pain. He took a picture of it. He just left from there and came outside. He calmed himself down and after 5 minutes called Teja
Teja: Haan bol Sunny
Karan: tu kaha par hai abhi?
Teja: shoot par hu, kyu kya hua?
Karan: mai tujhse vaha milne aa jao, I am really missing u
Teja: nahi, mai abhi busy hu shooting mai. Chal mai phone rakti hu shot dene jaa na hai
Teja cuts the call
Tears began flowing from Karan's eyes. He just couldn't believe all of this. He was numb. He thought how could his laddoo cheat on him. He was beyond shattered
He went home. When he entered his house, he saw Omi pacing worriedly
Omi(seeing Karan): areee Karan bhai aap kaha the, I was cal....
He stopped seeing Karan's state. Karan's eyes were red and swollen and his hair were messy. He gets shocked seeing him
Omi: bhai aap thik to ho na, kya hua hai? Aapne apni yeh kya halat banayi hui hai
Karan hugs Omi and breaks down
Omi: bhai kya hua aap ro kyu rahe ho
Karan: sab khatam ho gaya....sa...sab khat...khatam kar diya usne....
Omi: aap kya keh rahe ho
Karan: Tejasswi cheated on me...she is having an affair
Omi get shocked
Omi: aap yeh kya keh rahe ho. I am sure aapko koi galat fehmi hui hai
Karan(shouting): koi galat fehmi nahi hui hai mujhe
Karan shows him the photos he took. Omi gets astonished
Karan: I saw it with my eyes. Yeh photos maine hi click ki hai. Maybe mai isi laayak hu, sab mujhe chor dete hai. I thought she is different but she is same like my exes. How can she do this? Kya kami reh gayi thi yaar mere pyaar mai. Humesha mere saath aisa hota hai
Karan began sobbing. Omi couldn't see him like that and hugged him
Omi: bhai pls shaant ho jaiye
Karan gradually calmed down and broke the hug
His phone rings and it was Teja's call
He was hell angry and broken. Still, He picked up the call. Before he could speak anything
Teja: Sunny I have a surprise for u. Pls pls come to xyz location. Tu bohot khush ho jayega
Karan(calmly and in a cold voice): Yeah I am reaching
Teja could feel the coldness in his voice but brushed it off thinking that she might be overthinking
Karan cuts the call
Omi: bhai aap kaha jaa rahe ho
Karan: Tejasswi se milne
Omi: nahi aap akele nahi jaoge mai bhi aapke saath chalunga
Karan: I am going alone and that's final, and u r not going to argue with me
Omi: par
Karan: am I not audible
Omi gave up as he knew there was no point arguing as Karan is furious and he won't listen to anyone
Omi: acche se car chalana aur pls kuch ulta seedha mat bolna, and pls talk to her calmly
Karan didn't say anything and left
Here Teja was very excited to propose to Karan. She was in room which was beautifully decorated with flowers, lights and lamps. There was food and wine on the the table. Candles were also there. The place looked heavenly
Teja(thinking): finally ab hum humesha ke liye ek dusre ke ho jaayenge Sunny. I can't wait to spend my life with u. I love u so much. I have never felt this way before
Karan reaches there and Teja smiles seeing him
She goes to hug hum but Karan pushes her away. Teja gets shocked and tears welled in her eyes
