Rachel's POV *~*~*
I phone up my mother to tell her the wonderful news whilst Andy goes and sets a Batman film up.
She answers on the third ring.
"Hello?" She asks, seeing as she never checks caller ID.
"Mama? it's me Rachel" I tell her as I feel like I'm about to burst if I don't tell her the news.
"Rach?? Baba? Are you okay? Don't move I'll send your Papa to get you! It'll be okay!" She says hurriedly causing me to laugh softly.
"No Mama, I'm fine. Don't worry." I try and tell her over her telling my Papa to move.
"MAMA!! I'm fine!! It's just that, well... Andy asked me to marry him!" Once I tell her I hear a loud thud, which I think is her dropping the phone.
"He- he what?!" She asks once she's collected herself.
"He's asked me to marry him Mama" I say meekly worried she doesn't accept the engagement.
"Rachel... Come home tomorrow at noon with him." She says coldly before hanging up. It seems like she doesn't approve... yet she's always liked Andy. I bite my lip thinking and don't even realise that Andy has sat down next to me and is talking to me.
"Huh? What?" I ask, realizing I had zoned out.
"Never mind" He chuckles softly pulling me into him, I lie with my head against his chest and his arms around my waist.
"Mama wants us to go round tomorrow at noon" I blurt out before locking my eyes on the tv which is now playing Batman.
"Okay" He says simply and kisses the top of my head and with that I start to drift to sleep.
