Wednesday, May 20th, 2020
Day before the Combine
Y/n Pov

The days are counting down to where I can finally show them what they're missing out on. Right now I'm packing my suitcase cause I gotta be at the airport before 6:30pm so I'll be in Chicago before 9 o'clock and ma been on my ass since last weekend.

"Y/n I been told you to pack that bag. why don't you listen ?" She asked me while she stood in my doorway

"I started but then I stopped so technically I did as I was asked" I said with a shrug causing her to sigh and walk away. About 20 minutes later I was finished and now I gotta pack Autumn some stuff just incase we go do something as a family.

I take my bags downstairs and I hear a knock on the door and it's my baby momma, Maya. I huff and go get ma to open the door while I stand in the hall and listen from there.

"Maya why are you here?" Ma asked her as calm as possible

"I'm here to get my baby so if you'll excuse me" she responded trying to push in the house

" I didn't tell you you could come in so stay yo ass on this porch and I'll be right back." Ma said in that black momma tone.

"Y/n go get Autumn and let her SEE her do not give her that baby." She said aggravated

"Ma I just put her to sleep. She gone be cranky" I groan

"Then don't wake her up dumbass. You've been doing this 3 years I've thought you would've learned that by now" she said to me while she walked back in the living room.

I jogged upstairs and pick Autumn up slowly so
I wouldn't wake her up. When I open the front door the only thing separating us is the screen door.

"Open the door y/n" and I shook my head

"What happened to us doing this all together bae" when she said that I let out a belly laugh

"You wasn't saying that when you was in that other nigga, matter fact other NIGGAS faces was you" I said with a chuckle at the end

"Why you bring up the past. I'm supposed to be your number one fan and wife."

"How many games of mine have you gone to" I ask her being dead serious

"Why does that matter y/n" when she said that I guess ma was right there cause she pulled me away from the door.

"Go sit down I'll make sure she leaves" and I just nodded and went to sit on the couch with Autumn.

"Maya please leave my house cause this is my only time asking, and if I have to ask again my security with escort you." Ma told her. Then last thing I heard her say was "y/n you not done with me."

Skip a few hours

It's 5:15 and it takes 45 minutes to get to the airport. I'm waiting on everybody except ma and Bryson cause they got to work. Normani not even coming for me, she really just looking for a nigga, and Wick is also only coming for bitches. But pops, he's definitely coming for me cause he know if ma see one picture of him to close to a female, it's wraps.

While we wait on Normani to get here, Ma is basically following me around the house asking if I got everything. She made a whole checklist fr.
