Sparking Love

Chapter One

Everyone thinks being a hero is awesome and the best job you can get but it's not all it's made out to be, there's the constant fear of losing a hero someone looked up to and seen as a protector and there's the continuous demand for help and service which doesn't leave much time for relaxing and socialising.

Having just graduated Jirou is finding it hard to relax and spend quality time with her friends and managing her hero duties all the while fighting a constant fear of losing the people she cares about.

It all started a week ago, when a group of thugs were causing a scene at the Honei City Station. Jirou, Denki and Kirishima had just arrived at the scene. The street was filled with disorder, cars were upturned and windows in nearby shops had shattered. civilians were distressed and anxiously waiting for the heroes to turn up.

Red Riot was first on the scene his quirk already activated as he analysed the situation. luckily there was no hostages, or this could have turned more serious and dangerous. It looked as though a robbery had gone wrong for the three thugs and feeling trapped and unable to escape without being noticed caused them to become aggressive to try to protect themselves.

The first thug wore a dark blue sleeveless top and matching dark blue loafers. His alien-like appearance, with stalk eyes, and long metallic claws quickly identified him as Sickle Claw.

The second of the thugs wore a black, full body wetsuit with shoulder pads, accompanied by grey gloves and armour -like boots. He had a skull- like face with sunken in blue eyes. Red markings on the crown of his head. He was recognised as Hanzo Suiden one of the villains from the USJ incident in their first year.

The last thug was not so easily identified, she wasn't anyone on the heroes radar and she hadn't been sighted during any other villain attacks. This girl was new which made her more dangerous than the others as her quirk is unknown to the heroes. The girl glared at the hero before giving a small but noticeable smirk.

Chargebolt and Earphone Jack arrived just seconds later, on the scene. They all shared a knowing look getting into fighting stances. Kirishima then gave the order "Denki you take Hanzo Suiden I'll take sickle Claw and jirou you take the girl but be careful we don't know her quirk, it could be something powerful".

Jumping into action the three heroes quickly made work on the villains, easily dodging attacks and firing their own. Sickle Claw was the first to be restrained Kirishima having easily trapped him in a corner. Hanzo Suiden not far behind as Denki sent a Chargebolt towards him knocking him out.

Jiro however was having a more difficult time trying to detain the new villain, she was sly quick and confident. And even though Jiro was wearing her out her sinister smile never left her face. "Is that all you've got hero" she taunted, before jumping straight towards her. The closer she got the bigger her smile became. It made Jiro feel uneasy that she didn't feel like she was losing even when her earphone jacks wrapped around her making her unable to move. Her smile got impossibly wide. "Got Ya". Was the last thing she heard before a blinding White light filled her vision.
