7:00 AM, ah, that was a good sleep. the adoption center has been pretty weird lately, the older kids have been being really distant with me lately. i think they are starting to realize my eyes, its not my fault i was born with Heterochromia,

i wish i could just hide it. The adults say im lucky to have something special.. but lately the adults have been acting weird too, they are saying something about a meteor? like i know what that is.. but i get out of bed and go to get ready.

everyone is having fun running around the shared room so they can get to breakfast early, running to the dinning room we see Helen, one of the care takers setting up the tables.

Uhh.. I think we were a little too early. Helen smiled at us asking what we were doing up so early. We all said sorry so we went back out to the hallway sitting on the floor waiting. A kid came up to me.

"Hey.. uhm, what is wrong with your eyes?"

I have never seen this one friend before,, hm they must be new. Before I can speak some older kid spoke before.

"It's a disease! Get away before she curses you!" They say in a creepy tone.

The kid looked terrified and slowly backed away. I wanted to make a friend :(. I looked back at the big kid asking why they did that. They just stared blankly at me walking away.

Helen then opened the doors from the dinning room, welcoming us in. We all run in exited to eat. I sit next to my 'friends' ben and Catherine,

"did you hear the adults talking?? They saying something about a meteor!" Catherine says excited
" what even is a meteor??" I ask "duhh,, ITS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER!! ITS A HUUGE ROCK THAT COMES OUT OF SPACE!!" Ben says clearly exited.

The whole dinning room looks at us surprised that ben just yelled.

"I uh.. I read it in the library, we should go over there after chores,, we can study about it to see what the adults might have been talking about more.." he said; embarrassed

. I was excited, out of space?!?? I don't know what space is, but it sounds awesome!! I stuffed my face with pancakes and hurried my friends

BENS POV
Lin looked very excited, started to even hurried us after she just litterly swallowed her pancakes whole!! After eating we all walked to the library.

Walking in the library, I show them were the space section is and we start looking through books.

"Woahh look at this! Their is so much more circle thing-ys then earth!" Lin says

"Yeah! They are called planets!" I say

"Ben? Lin? Catherine?" Some teen says behind us. "What are you guys reading about?" The guy looked pretty geeky, he has black glasses with curly type hair.

"METEORS!" Catherine yells happily

The guy got super excited, I'm guessing he was really interested in this stuff as I was. He then went on a whole rant on facts about space.

By the end of the rant it was already late, man we spent A LOT of time on the library talking. We then all went back to our bedrooms, in our sleeping clothes, deep asleep..

NO ONES POV
All the kids, teens, adults asleep, thinking everything will be amazing next day..

In the middle of the night the whole house started to shake, Lin waking up from the vibration, scared on what's going on. She went out of the bed wondering was going on. She can barely even stand up without walking. The shaking, to crashing noise, to black. Everything went black. The silence was killing the surface. Nothing was seen after. Till..
