{(Y/N)'s POV}
I sighed in disappointment, staring at the wall. Disappointment in myself, for being so worthless. Disappointment in myself, for not being able to get myself motivated enough to leave the bed. Mostly, disappointment in myself for not being a good s/o to Kazuichi, my boyfriend. Why did Kaz even ask me out? I'm not even that good-looking, and I know how much he fawned over Sonia. Right now, he's working on fixing up a vehicle - as it helps him improve his talent. My talent isn't nearly as impressive or practical as his. I'm the Super High School Level (Y/T), and I always feel inferior to Kaz, no matter how many times he reassures me I'm not. As similar thoughts continued to plague my mind, I didn't notice Kaz open the door.
"Hey, (Y/N)! I'm ho-" he cuts himself off as he sees me in bed. He walks over to the side of the bed that I was facing, cupping my cheek. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"
I reach up to touch my face, and I realize I was crying. Somehow, I hadn't noticed. "A-ah..." I murmur.
"Don't worry, take your time," he reassures.
I gulp. "Am I... good enough for you?" I asked quietly.
Kaz just put his fingers under my chin and looked me in the eyes. "Listen, don't think about yourself like that. If anything, you're too good for me." His tone held sincerity, but also a twinge of sadness laced within. I could see small tears dabbing the corner of his eyes, but I could tell he was trying to hold onto them for me. Kaz climbed onto the bed and opened his arms for me. His expression changed from slightly sad to warm and welcoming really quick.
"Come here," he said. Slowly, I got up from my laying position, and crawled into Kaz's arms. He wrapped one arm around my body and stroked my hair with his other hand. For the rest of the day, he held me in his arms, whispering sweet nothings into my ears.
