Hae-won spun around in her chair and played with her hair as she watched the others socialize with each other, completely ignoring her.
She let out a dramatic sigh as she opened the file cabinet to her left. She took out a stack of files and looked through the first one that was on top of the stack.
"Eh? Why is there a document about sex. Disgusting." Hae-won said while reading the page that was about sex.
She closed her eyes as she put back the piece of paper back into the file folder. She proceeded to take out another file from the folder.
"This one's just about the daily announcements." She said to herself as she scanned her eyes across the page. She thought that it would be funny to say an announcement like every other day.
She grabbed the files with the announcement paper on top and rolled her chair over to the microphone/recording area.
She looked at the file cabinet that was outside of the broken door, it was to keep her out until further notice and because she broke the other door in the process.
She put the files down next to her earning a slapping sound when it dropped down on the desk and some extra wind too.
She plugged in the microphone to the input where it connected to the school speakers. She put on the headphones to hear what she was saying on the microphone.
She picked up the paper and looked at it one last time before turning a knob which turned on the music to notify the students that there was an announcement up coming.
The music stopped and Hae-won was now on air. She looked at the paper before reciting a sentence into the microphone.
"Hello students of Hyosan High School!" She said with an ecstatic voice, just like the one Ms.Park had whenever she was up for announcements.
"Today we have a nice sunny day, be sure to go outside and play some sports. And for todays lunch we will be having soup, vegetables, yakult and the main meal which is Kkakdugi." Hae-won smiled as she remembered the times where it was a normal day, the announcements were on and all of that good lunch food.
Now, they were stuck in a record room with no food at all. All they had were each other but not everyone was destined to survive.
Suddenly, screams were heard from outside the record room. Hae-won looked outside the window to see a zombie hanging from it's leg, swinging forward towards the group of students.
Su-hyeok grabbed a broom and tried to hit it but it only broke off the top of the broom which was in-convenient.
Su-hyeok still tried to push it out with the now sharpened end of the broom, causing the zombie to be impaled in the chest yet it still survived.
It was a zombie after all, right?
Gyeong-su yelled and helped Su-hyeok who were both trying to push it out with their bare hands.
Gyeong-su's hand was dangerously close to the zombie's mouth which could bite it at any second.
He looked over and knew he had to throw something at the zombie before it was all too late.
He grabbed a pc and threw it at the zombie which finally lost grip of it's foot hanging onto the loop hole on the rope they had made earlier.
The kids all sighed in relief but they were also bummed that their only source of information had been destroyed.
"Sorry." Gyeong-su said while panting because of the zombie incident.
"It's fine." Da-eun said while smiling at his bravery. Da-eun was a supportive and outgoing person. That's why most of the class likes her but Nayeon despises her for being so much better.
Gyeong-su nodded and slumped into a chair while staring at the mistake he made, the computer had no pc anymore.
He groaned in annoyance as he knew he let most of the team down and he didn't wanna even get into that.
He stood up and watched as Nayeon glared at him across the room. This shitty little Nayeon.
Nayeon stood up and looked at him straight in the eye, she had enough of everyone's bullshit and knew something had to be done.
"Yah, why did you throw out the fucking pc?" Nayeon said while yelling at him in anger. She knew that letting out her anger would be a solution to most of her problems, that's why she's doing it.
"Cause it was the closest thing that could be chucked!" Gyeong-su argued back. Nayeon always got on his nerves and he made sure to defend himself before anything else.
"You are so fucking dumb!" Nayeon responded with which made Gyeong-su's blood boil. He was ready to feed her to the zombies anytime soon.
Hae-won on the other hand was intrigued by the drama that was in front of her. All she had to do was sit back and watch through the window. She acted as if the window was like a TV which made her love the record room. She knew she didn't wanna come out anytime soon.
"Oh my god, just stop arguing and be grateful that I saved your ass! What would happen if I hadn't thrown the pc at the zombie, huh?" Gyeong-su said. Nayeon was taken aback by his words because she knew he was right but Nayeon wasn't ready to be proved wrong.
"Oh shut up!" Nayeon said while taking a step forward trying to seem intimidating but she was a few inches shorter than him which made her look dumb-founded.
"Shut up you welfie." Gyeong-su said knowing she would get offended by such a comeback.
Nayeon tried to spit out offensive words but she couldn't. She didn't like the word Gyeong-su had used.
She slapped him across the face. Gyeong-su held his left cheek as he slowly turned his head towards her.
He took his hand off his left cheek and pushed her into the wardrobe behind her.
"Ms.Park! He just called me a welfie and pushed me!" Nayeon said trying to act all innocent and all. Ms.Park saw everything. She knew Gyeong-su had called her a welfie and had pushed her.
"What's a welfie anyway?" Ms.Park questioned while staring at the both of them. "You know what, nevermind." Ms.Park said.
"Gyeong-su, that isn't right to call Nayeon whatever a welfie is and to push her. Nayeon, it isn't right to curse at your classmates and slap them either." Ms.Park said trying to give both of them equal justice.
Nayeon was about to stare down at her feet in embarrassment when she realized the scratch mark on Gyeong-su's hand.
"Hey Gyeong-su! Is that a scratch mark on your hand?" Nayeon announced loudly. Gyeong-su looked down at his hand and stared at it, he knew it wasn't from a zombie.
"It was probably from a zombie." Nayeon said while staring at his hand. She knew that she could be proved right this time.
"But it's not!" Gyeong-su argued back. He knew it wasn't a scratch mark from a zombie. No way it could be.
"Didn't you see how close his hand was to the zombie, everyone?" Nayeon said. Everyone nodded their heads in unison. Gyeong-su started to worry,
"You know what, I'll just go into the record room. How's that?" Gyeong-su said.
Gyeong-su stared at everyone one last time before turning around and moving towards the file cabinet.
He pushed it aside and signaled Hae-won to come out knowing she was immune but she was half-zombie. She didn't seem like a threat though so she was okay to let out.
Gyeong-su moved the file cabinet to close off the door.
He sat down in the chair and stared at everyone who was now staring at him like an animal in it's exhibit.
