My mom moved into a duplex and soon found her now husband Brent. It was love at first sight as some might say but here’s what actually happened. Brent was dating Dawn, he was at a slow pitched softball game and saw my mom and said something like this, “Miranda, your moms hot!” Right in front of his now ex Dawn. Of course my mom was flattered and probably thinked he was a player (laughter). Brent bribed us kids with candy (still does). They dated for around 3-5 months and he FINALLY proposes. (around that time my dad starts dating his 3rd (puke) cousin, Nora.) Mom and brent soon get married on July 19, 2008 (my sisters husband now Danny’s birthday). They get married right on the deck of my grandpa Larry’s!
