Ashley's POV
I woke up to the sound of people singing the happy birthday.My mom ,dad,and Matthew were singing while my dad held a cake. I was happy to see him he is always on business trips.i blew out my candals and hugged everyone ."happy birthday "they all said "thank you guys I love you now I need to get dressed"i said as they walked out .I hopped in the shower put on my cutest outfit with my hair curled.I looked pretty for once. I went downstairs to eat pancakes with the family.
Hayes POV
All the guys were over except Matthew .so I decided to text him.
Me: hey are you coming to hang with us or nah
Matthew : can't still sick
Me :oh get better peace✌️

"Aye guys let's go see Matthew in while since he is sick " I told the guys " of course"said nash " cool how bout 2:00 is when we head over as a surprise " I said as I ran upstairs to get dressed .
Matthew POV
I had to lie that I was sick today to Hayes or else the guys would come over to to hang out .when our family got here there was music and pizza and Starbucks ! Wow she is such a white girl .
Nash POV
since it was 2 we got there and there was music and tons of cars. Was Matthew having a party without his friends? Was he lying to us about being sick ? But why? Tons of questions start to go through my head . Jack j, Jack g, hayes ,Cameron ,Taylor and I knock on the door .Matthews mom answers ." Hello boys are you here for Matthew ?" She said " hello mrs Espinosa and yes we are here cause Matt said he was sick and we wanting to come cheer him up " I said nervously ." Matthew is not sick he is in the back dancing ,come in I'm sure he would love to have you guys here"she Said .
Matthew POV
I was dancing with Ashley to "good girls "by 5sos when I saw all of my friends coming towards me . Ashley noticed and stopped dancing and ran to her room making sure they did not see her face ." I thought you were sick !" Hayes said mad."Guys I can explain follow me" I said trying not to create a scene.they followed me into my room." ok guys I understand you guys might think I'm a horrible friend but I had to lie and the only thing is I can't tell you why."i said sadly." what do you mean you can't explain !" Taylor yelled .
Ashley POV
I was in my room when I heard telling coming from Matthews room.They need to know the truth . My brother was about to lose his best friends because is me .I opened the door to his room and all eyes were on me ."who are you ?" Cameron says rudely confused. "Im Ashley Ashley Espinosa"I stuttered they all looked at me and their jaws dropped . "your his sister ?!" Hayes said shocked . " Ya I am I didn't want anyone to know or else they would use me ."I said .They said goodbye to Matthew and I as they told him sorry.They then left and drove away .I hugged Matthew and went to bed .
