The carnage

it was a beautiful day the sun was golden the sky was light blue the white clouds that travelled upon the atmosphere added to the lovely landscape of the faraway mountains and to the forest that surrounded the enchanted kingdom that was called Aurora full of magic and beauty.

it was a pretty good day I've finished all of my royal duties well the ones of the morning I was bored so I decided to go visit the library and work on my spells as someone part of the royal family I have the duty to learn magic spells and potions.

As I am able to remember my mother always told me about the story of my family that we came from a powerful pureblood sorcerer that had created this kingdom in reason to reunite all magical creatures into one place as a big family.

And therefore his descended have to learn magic too to use it to protect our kingdom remembering my dear mother say that to me made shed a tear as now she is gone but I got to stay strong.

I got up from my bed and was going to the royal library after arriving there I started to read spell books and try to memorize them then took some to the potion lab to experiment with them I was focusing on a luck potion as those are pretty hard for me but then someone burst the door open.

I jump of surprise throwing all the ingredients in the cauldron creating an explosion '' shit sorry '' I recognize the voice it was Rosaly one of the maids in the Castel she was one of my dearest friends we usually call her rosa she had brown hair dyed light cyan in the front it was pretty short she had rosy libs and the formal maid uniform with a cyan pin in form of a flower in the left of her chest people usually think we are a couple what they don't know is that rosa have no interest in men.

'' Hi rosa '' I said with an unamused face she start giggling '' hi prince how you doing '' she said with a smile '' Well I was trying to work in a luck potion but someone interrupted me '' I said with sarcasm '' Ey george why don't you go take a break I mean you been working since dawn why not just chill '' she said with a tiny hit of worry rosa is the type of person who will act as a responsible person for a moment the next moment she would be causing chaos like painting on the royal hall I promise it happened.

'' Rosa you know I can't do that '' I said with a smile she frowned at my answer took me by hand went to my room took a hooded cloak with fur from my closet and put it on me all I did was try to process what was happing she gave me a bag with some books then took my hand again dragged me to the kitchen grabbed a tiny basket then to forest gates she then looked at me and said '' Go have fun for once idiot it not gonna kill you plus I know how much you like to pick up flowers and mushrooms from the forest to make your magic potions now shoo go have fun ''.

 She declared with her hands on her waist having a confident smile '' but-'' I replied '' no but go don't worry if anyone says anything I will beat their ass '' I looked at her a bit angry '' Ok not beat them up just give them a hand '' I looked at her glaring then smiled '' Ok then you convinced me I guess see you later '' I said to her while walking out waving my hand '' baiiiii '' she screamed waving her hand to me.

I started going to the forset going in deeper since it is the best way to find beautiful flowers and glowing mushrooms I started collecting flowers from here to there and vice versa it was soo good even if I a colourblind I was still able to differentiate the types of plants I was taking lucky I was wearing gloves cause some plant was poisonous to touch.

I heard bushes moving I was a bit curious so I got near it to find a brown rabbit stuck in a fox trap its leg being injured then I hear seeking to see what it was I turn my head to the left seeing 3 baby rabbits in a hole afraid I felt bad so slowly I opened the trap the rabbit wanting to run to it children trip as it leg was hurt not knowing what to do I rip a piece of my cloak to use as a bandage.

'' shh little bunny everything is going to be fine '' after calming it down I always had my way with animals well most of them I grab the piece of cloak and take a healing herb from the basket cutting it into a small piece then put it in the rabbit leg later wrapping it with the cloak.

Soon after the rabbit walked slowly to its nest coming back halfway rubbing its head to my hand then going back to its children.

 I was getting tired so I decide to look for a place to sit down and read while walking a noticed a burned-out fireplace I didn't pay much attention to it after a lot of walking I notice a calendula flower it helps with cuts, scrapes minor burns and other injuries I picked it to put and it in the basket.

I then found a big tree and decided to rest next to it so I sat down and put the basket next to me I took a book from my bag and started reading after a while I started falling asleep as my eyes were slowly getting heavier and my arms flopping down my stomach.

I woke up to the sunset I didn't realize anything fuck am late I got up got my things and started running towards the kingdom I lift my head to see how much time I have left then I notice smoke coming from the direction am going to my eyes widen with fear running faster while thinking about the worst scenarios. 

After getting closer to the village I see fire everywhere bodies surrender by blood there were pillagers and knights fighting screams of pain and distress were heard a carnage of blood and tears was happening in my kingdom my duty was to protect it but all I did was stand inside the woods shaking not doing anything I tried to move but my body was stuck.

My mouth was open I wanted to scream but no sound came out tear was slowly folding my pale face I turned back to the forest and started running as fast as I could through the dark forest in the middle forest why why why '' WHY DID I DO NOTHING '' I wisher yelled I ran so fast I almost tripped so many times all I did was run.

I start at the sky tears still going down am sorry I am so sorry rose...rose is still there I screamed quietly why why did I leave I should have stayed what the point anymore.

A drop of water fell on my nose '' huh? '' it started raining what a misery I started walking trying to find shelter from the rain it getting pretty windy a storm might start so hiding under a tree is off option look like I have lost everything why wh- I notice a cave.

Maybe there is still hope?
