Caitlyn was staring at the ceiling above her bed, unable to hide her smile as she recalled Stuart's words. Maybe they could make things work, she thought, but then her mind travelled to afterwards and the way that Stuart had been a complete jerk to Billy and Nick during the challenge. Sure, she didn't want them on her team anymore than what the rest of them did, but they were, there was no point making things hard for them. The best thing they could do would be to use them to their advantage, no other team contains as much life experience as what Cat's team had, so why didn't they flaunt that? Why weren't they all trying to work together? They could literally work so well if they just tried.
Cat herself had actually walked out during the bug challenge after having a go at her team for treating Billy and Nick like complete and utter idiots. Since then she had received 3 calls from Neha and 2 from Stuart, all of which she ignored. Call her stubborn, but she just didn't feel comfortable not saying anything about how they had acted towards Billy and Nick, heck, she had even begun to feel guilty for how blunt she had been to them. The two were clearly harmless and were really just trying to do what everyone else was, get a job.
*ping* *ping* *ping*
Cat rolled over and lazily grabbed her now vibrating phone, managing to unlock it with her eyes closed. Squinting, she quickly scanned the message and bit back a smile.
Stewie: im srry 4 2day, can i make it up 2 u aftr the challenge 2morrow?
Cat: ur forgiven, but id luv 2 c u make it up 2 me
Stewie: done
Rolling her eyes with a small smile playing on her lips, Cat put her phone down and snuggled into her pillow, allowing herself to escape into unconsciousness for a good 8 hours.

"The challenge is Quiditch? What the hell does that have to do with technology?" Cat questioned, turning her unsure expression towards Neha, who was sitting next to her on the bright green campus grass.
"No idea, but just imagine how much fun it will be! I can't wait to smash Graham's snotty team!" Neha exclaimed, grinning at the thought of beating Graham at something.
"Mmm, I wouldn't be too sure we'll win. Have you seen our team? We are definitely not the most athletic group of individuals."
"True, but it's Quidditch, how hard could it be?" Neha responded, laying back onto the grass, a tiny smirk playing on her lips.
————
"Very hard! Quidditch can be very hard!" Cat whined, calling out to the curly brunette on the other side of the field.
First of all, Quidditch turned out to be very painful, have you ever tried running with a broom inbetween your legs? Not fun. Second of all, the amount of tension surrounding their team was cringeworthy, hardly any of them were even trying, which could be why Graham's team was absolutely flogging them. Stuart had barely glanced up from his phone and the only times he looked up was to smile encouragingly at Caitlyn.
"This is embarrassing, guys. Can you please try giving a crap?" Cat glared as they regrouped for half time. No one meeting her eyes, clearly still feeling awkward about yesterdays events.
"Hey, now, we can do this guys."
"Are you kidding me, Billy? Look at the score!"
"You just have to believe,"
"This team's a joke."
"Well, I ain't laughing, how 'bout you, Billy?"
"Hell no. This reminds me of a little girl from a small town with a dream to dance. The odds were stacked against Alex, and do you know how she overcame those odds? By believing in herself and trying. She literally had to become a maniac. She had to strip down to nothing, she had to sit in that chair and arch her back and she pulled the chain to nowhere and doused herself with water-"
"Are you talking about 'Flashdance'? The movie from the 80s?" Stuart asked, interuppting Billy's pep talk.
"Yeah, you're damn right I am! She believed so hard she spun herself right into that dance school and right into our hearts. And now, in the second half of whatever the hell you guys call this game, let's put on our leg warmers and lets dance our butts off." Billy finished, leaving the team with warm smiles plastered on their faces and inspired to win.
"Now get in here you lovable maniacs, I think I have a plan." Nick added as the six of them hudddled in, whispering hushed plans to each other.
————-
"That was amazing, did you see how we really came together in the second half?" Cat said, grinning brightly at Stuart as he led her into a nice little cafe.
"Cat, we lost." Stewie replied, gently pulling out a chair for her.
"But we were so good, we definitely have the next challenge in the bag!"
"Getting cocky, are we?" he laughed, raising an eyebrow at the enthusiastic girl infront of him.
"Just telling the truth." she shrugged, her smile not ceasing. "So what's your favourite colour?"
"My favourite colour?" Stuart questioned, unsure.
"Yep."
"It'd probably be green. What about you?"
"Baby blue or lilac."
"Pretty,"
"Yeah, I know. Pastel colours are my absolute favourite." Caitlyn smiled, fidgeting with the hem of the table cloth.
"I wasn't talking about the colours," Stuart mumbled, scratching the back of his neck nervously as Cat blushed. Slowly, but surely, Cat noticed Stewie begin to lean in and before she even realised she was too, their lips met. Stuart reached up and softly cupped her cheek, while Cat wrapped her arms around his neck, the two both smiling into the kiss and blissfully unaware of the stares they were receiving from other customers in the cafe. This, this is how it's supposed to feel, Caitlyn thought, swearing she heard violins in the distance and felt tingles all over her body.
