The next morning you head almost straight out the door because you slept in allot longer than normal.This morning tho bucky drops you off at the antique shop because its on his way to his work.You head straight to your office and start to sample the serum into different vile's when howard stark walks into the room and sits down in front of you "agent y/l/n,i would like to offer you to take the super soldier serum?"it came as quite a shock that he wanted you a woman to take the serum "why not a man,a man who could win the war for us?" "because you are the strongest agent i know and i know you can do it"those words coming from thee howard stark made you feel great being recognised by him.
He left leaving you speechless not knowing what to do,you collect yourself together and finish your work and leave straight away but before you leave you go to mr starks office,you knock and his assistant lets you in,"hello agent do you need anything?""i've decided to take the serum"you reply hesitantly "okay thank you for letting me know,you will need to start training with agent carter everyday to make sure you are perfectly ready"he says.you leave out the door of the antique shop and decide to go to steve's apartment because you can't bare to tell bucky just yet.You nock on his door and it opens "y/n! its realy good to see you!""it's great to see you too !but i need to tell you something ""okay come in"you sit down on one side of the table and steve on the other side he gets you both a cup of tea and biscuit.you tell him all about that you have been working on the super serum and then get to the point where you need to tell him about that your taking it,"steve i'm going to take the serum""what!"at first when he said that you looked down knowing he didn't like the idea but then he said"whoa that's great-i mean great for you!woah"you chuckle at his reaction,he gives you a hug and keeps congratulating you then of course he asks "does bucky know?"you reply not knowing what to say"ermm....no""Y/n why!" "because it might break him or it might make him sad....."you both sit in silence until you break it saying "let's go back to my place and get bucky then go to the carnival "
You get to the carnival with bucky and steve you go over to the ball shooting area when you win a big blue teddy you turn around,"where's steve?you ask bucky as you walk over to the big top tent "i'll go find him"he says.bucky finds him looking in a mirror projecting the silhouette of a soldier but he was too small.you walk over to the but they don't notice your there you hear bucky say that he joined the army yesterday and is being sent to an army camp tomorrow morning.When you hear those words your heart breaks knowing the person you love and want to be with forever is leaving you tomorrow and might not ever come back.
You start sobbing and then they notice you bucky stands still as your eyes get puffy and red."yo-your-your leaving" you try to say while in between sobbs."why!"your emotions of sadness and anger start to take you over""please don't leave me!""are you seriously angry at me now!"he shouts making you feel even worse "what have i done!"you exclaim still getting to grabs that he will be gone for who knows long"your having the super soldier serum!"he shouts not knowing how loud he is being "wha-how-how do you kno-"he interrupts when your in the middle of your sentence "steve told me"the mood starts to get less shouty."im sorry baby"you say as you know this could be the last night for a while with him "im sorry to doll,i shouldn't have shouted or lied""i love you""i love you more""impossible"you both say as you forgive each other you turn around and see steve has got bored and has left.
You both go home,you make hot chocolate while thinking about what your life will be like after tomorrow :no bucky and getting the super soldier serum,just thinking about loosing bucky brings tears to your eyes.You bring the hot chocolate to the bedroom and drink it.you get in the shower but little did you know that it was the perfect place to get lost in your thoughts you start crying knowing what could happen to bucky risking his life all day every day you slowly slide down the wall of the shower realising the chances of this stupid war.A long time later you hear bucky shouting for you and get out ."doll are you ok ? i heard you in there""i just don't want you to go.....i need you"at the end of that hard to say sentence you are crying like crazy and nestled into bucky's chest as he kisses your head he lays you down in the bed and covers you with the duvet he waits for you to go to sleep and then goes to sleep himself.
p.s:it is a bit of short but tomorrow i will give a bit of a longer one
and i have school the day after so i might change when i post chapters
