Y/n was currently standing outside of the village as he was waiting along side Ruby as they both were waiting for Ozpin to arrive. As they did Ruby was wearing a new combat outfit that was make by the village blacksmith on Y/n's request.

"so how are you feeling about this" Y/n asked Ruby.
"fine...I just need to prepare myself a little" Ruby said making Y/n chuckle a little.
"don't worry about it so much, you have us with you remember" Y/n replied trying to reassure her that everything will be fine. As he said this a Bullhead came into view and soon landed just outside the village. As Y/n and Ruby looked at the Bullhead and saw Ozpin along with Glynda and a group of what looked to be seventeen people. Eleven of the seemed to be Beacon students while the other two where much older. Just as Y/n was looking at the group a blonde hair girl and the two older man ran towards Ruby.
"Ruby!!" screwed two of them while the third just walked over to her.
"hey guys I'm fi.." Ruby said when she was suddenly tackled into a hug by the pair.
As the group was soon joined by the other Y/n leaned against the large gate that was the entrance of the village. After a few second had gone past the group finally let Ruby breath.
"it's good to see you're in good health Miss Rose" Ozpin said.
"yes thank you professor" Ruby replied.
As this happened Weiss had approached Ruby much over Ruby's dismay.
"hey Ruby, once we're back at Beacon can we talk about what happened between us. I wanted to apologise to you and ask for a second chance, I didn't mean to it was just I got so lonely and he was there so..." Weiss was interrupted when Ruby simply walked away.
" I don't plain on giving you a second chance, and I also don't plain on returning to Beacon" Ruby said while walking towards Y/n. As she didn't everyone was shocked.
"Ruby what do you mean you won't return, I thought you wanted to become a Huntress" said her friend Jaune.
"I did, but I've found a new home here and people who don't lie to me" Ruby said.
"You what did you do to my daughter" yelled Tai.
"me I did nothing, all I did was tell her the truth. The truth about her eyes and the real reason Ozma invited her to Beacon" as Y/n said this Ozpin, Glynda, Tai and Qrows eyes widen.
"oh sorry, I meant Ozpin" Y/n said with a smirk.
While the students were confused Ozpin sighed.
"how much do you know?" Ozpin asked Y/n.
"oh I know a lot of things, so does Ruby here and everyone else in there does as well" Y/n said while pointing behind him.
"if it's true then you understand why we must train Ruby then" Ozpin said but was interrupted by Y/n.
"so she can became another one of your weapons, sorry but I'm not letting you use Ruby as if she was an object for your pointless war...and it seems I'm not the only one who thinks that way, am I right....Summer" Y/n said, As he did most were shocked to see Summer Rose, Ruby's mother walk beside Y/n.
"Hello again Ozpin, Qrow, Tai....Its been a while hasn't it" said Summer.
"S..Summer, is that really you" Tai said in shock.
"Yes Tai, it's me but before you ask I will not be returning to Beacon as well. I have found a new home here one that doesn't use me or my daughter because of our eyes" Summer said while glaring at Ozpin.
Summer made her way to Ozpin before handing him her and Ruby's Huntress licence.
"we won't be needing these anymore" as she handed over the licences, Summer began making her way back to Y/n and Ruby.
"Summer please come home, you can't seriously stay here with these mercenaries" said Tai.
"these mercenaries have done nothing but help me, they were the only ones that came and looked for me when non of you would. They helped me and healed my wounds, and when they found Ruby crying her eyes out they took her in an immediately treated her as one of their own. And more importantly they don't hide secrets or behind a false name Huntsman, Huntresses, Hero's their just over glorified mercs" Summer said before leaving with Ruby back into the village.
"now that your business is done you can leave" Y/n said.
"Like hell we are, give us back Ruby and Summer" Tai yelled, but as he did a ball of Destruction had shot past him and exploded in the distance.
"I'm warning you, I don't car who you are or how powerful you think you are...If you lay a single figure on anyone that's apart of our village" Y/n said before snapping his fingers, as he did the gate opened as everyone saw a large group of humans and faunus walk out holding weapons....but what surprised them as the Grimm that accompanyed them.
"why is there Grimm with you" said Glynda.
"isn't it obvious, We've found a way of communicating with them so now instead of killing each other we've joined forces, and with the alliance we signed with the Faunus the other day I'm going to give you a warning...mess with us, and you'll have an uncontrollable shit storm headed you're way" Y/n said as a dark purple aura surrounded him.
After Beacon had left and everyone got back to work Y/n headed to Summer and Ruby's room where heard crying. After entering he saw Summer crying to her self while Ruby was trying to comfort her.
"Summer, Ruby" Y/n said before joining them, as he hugged both of them they both hugged him back.
"I promise, I'll protect both of you...no matter the cost" Y/n said to himself. Promising that if anything happened to them...There would be hell to pay.
