"Ms.grey what's the answer" professor Romano asked Jules

"a function is a special kind of rule that assigns to each independent variable in domain a unique dependent variable in range" Jules answered

professor smiled "your correct" Jules smiled back

They stared at each other, Jules heart fluttered and professor had forgotten there is still a class full of students around them

Romano scoffed trying to play it off, he tried to go on with asking questions but more than half the class had already found it weird

" what was that about?" Catherine whispered to Jules "I have no clue" Jules responded

After class ended Jules couldn't bring herself to look at professor Romano she was very nervous to walk in front of him but talking with Catherine almost made her forget she was avoiding him

It wasn't that she didn't find him attractive or that she was creeped out it but she never really gotten male attention so she didn't know how to act when she did

As Catherine and Jules walked out of Romano class some guy with a football jersey walked up to Catherine

"ayo Catherine are you going to the party later? Angel wants to know" The man that had walked up to them asked Catherine " you can tell him to go fuck off but yes I'm going" Catherine says aggressively

The guy look scared of Catherine and he ended up just walked off without saying anything to Catherine

" hey Jules you should totally come to the party later"

"I don't know" Jules said anxiously " come on it'll be fun, your a freshman right?

"Yea"

"That'll mean it's your first college party!!" Catherine said excitedly "I'll only  go if My friend Amy goes" Jules says

"Amy? The sophomore?" Catherine makes a  shocked and confused expression "yea, do you know her" Jules asks "oh uh- no I've only heard of her that's all" Catherine seemed a bit defensive but Jules shrugged it off as nothing

"Fine I'll go, I don't have anything else to do so why not"

"Alright that's great, I have a class in 5 minutes so I have to get going" Catherine says as she walks off

"Bye"

Jules next class is professor Lombardo she almost forgot that he was one of the professors that Amy had a mention to her

The schedule on her phone says that her best class starts at 4:30 so that meant Jules had 40 more minutes with no classes

When it was 4:20 Jules entered the classroom and everybody was already there including Professor Lombardo

professor Lombardo was already halfway through his lesson and Jules had realized that she was late on her first day of his class

Jules was shocked she went quickly the seat nearest to her

everybody seem to stare at her including professor Lombardo

She was so embarrassed

she started grabbing her stuff out of her bag to prepare to write notes when she finished she looked up and saw that professor Lombardo was still staring at her in anger or it look like a anger to Jules

She was scared but not in horror movies type of way, more like in a sexual way

she liked it she liked that he scared her, or maybe he was just hot but Jules didn't know what it was she just knew she liked it

"Late on the first day ms. Grey?" Professor Lombardo asks

Jules stares at him awkwardly not know what to say

"I'm so sorry I thought your class started at 4:30  I'm so sorry sir" Jules stared at the ground nervous for his response

It was quiet for a while in till professor Lombardo finally spoke "please don't come late to class again or you will be punished"
Lombardo says to Jules then quickly Professor continues
with his lesson

As his lesson goes on Jules realize how attractive he was, Lombardo seemed to be in his 40s , he had a couple tattoos he had dark brown hair almost black he was very very fit she couldn't tell who was more fit between Dr.Evans or him, he had a scar across his face it wasn't  really noticeable until you really stared at him

As the lesson went on Jules  noticed that Lombardo would give Jules looks but it was probably because of earlier

when class ended Jules decided that she was going to explain herself to Professor Lombardo So she waited until everybody left

when they did she walked up to his desk where he was sitting

she didn't really have a plan on what she was going to say or do

he looked up at her while she stood in front of his desk " I am sorry that I came late to your class, I thought your class started at 4:30 instead of 4, is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Jules Voice was shaky and when Lombardo noticed he smiled " I can think of a few ways you can make it up for me" professor Lombardo said with a smirk on his face
