red x cyan || an among us story

red walks down the halls of the spaceship, walking to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. it's been a little lonely recently, considering it's only them and cyan left on the spaceship. last week, they had voted out pink who happened to be the imposter, and killed purple.

"good morning cyan!" red says, with a big smile on their face.

"good morning to you too red." cyan says, after drinking a sip of coffee.

red has been crushing on cyan for quite some time now, ever since they both got on this spaceship. it's been almost two months now, and red thinks it's about time to confess. red has been planning this out for a long time- they're gonna play a romantic song on the guitar during breakfast, and then confess to cyan after.

"u-uh i'm gonna go get my g-guit- ..... ugh why do i suck at forming sentences someone please help me why am i so awkward why does everything-"

"red? you're mumbling to yourself." cyan says, in her usual quiet and calm voice.

"uh- uhh- you know what, fuck the plan."

"hmm?"

red blushes and rests their head done to the table, trying to magically disappear in this awkward situation.

"is everything okay red?" cyan asks politely.

"i- ugh- cyan, i've had a crush on you for so long and i know you don't like me back and it hurts me so much but i just had to say it because i've been keeping in these feelings for so long and ugh-" red smashes their face on the table.

"red, i actually like you too. i didn't want to tell you because i didn't think you would have liked me back, after all you're so talkative and energetic, and i'm just so.... shy and introverted i guess." cyan says calming, but still blushing a bit.

"who would have ever thought this would be real... am i dreaming right now?" red says in shock.

"well turns out i do, what's shocking is that you actually like me. sooo uhh, wanna be my partner now?"

"i would love that." red says, then kissing cyan right on the lips.
