Rin's Pov

       I am undoubtedly a hopeless romantic. All my friends that have known me since we were little knew this fact. Well, I look like your average 5'2 girl with little to no charms. It's not that I'm not grateful for this but I just want to get recognized for once. Not in a main character way, rather in a romantic interest kind of way. Is it that too much to ask?

      Now let me tell you about how my love life has been since I was a little. From kindergarten to elementary, my mother sent me to an all-girl school so I have no idea what love is. Whenever a guy came to our school, I'll be over the moon just watching them breathes. Well, that's when I thought I was straight as a ruler. The next thing I knew, came highschool. I had access to phone since then. It was kind of interesting how I find out so much more about the world. Like with the fact that I may or may not like women. We'll get back to that later.
Unfortunately, I was a sickly kid in highschool. So my high school year passed by so quickly until it was my last year. Thank god I experienced my senior year because for the first time, I truly felt in love with someone. Not that it was my first crush, but I've never felt this intense emotion in a way I can't describe. I do get crushes here and there but you can say it was me trying to convince myself they're pretty and I like them so it doesn't count lol. However, this girl is different. Mind you she was also my first girl crush so it was a little overwhelming. She was charming. She did all the things I loved like buying me pastries from the nearby bakery and simply care for me. As I said, I never felt loved enough so these gesture is so new to me. I fell so hard. My fault that I got no guts and didn't really confess. Well, it's my last year so we may not meet again. That's a relieve. Let's move on.

      Surprise suprise, I am now working in a company as a game developer. I passed through university so boringly. I never got noticed by someone. You can say I did my best tryna find my university romance love story but its a shame. It was in my bucket list though so I felt abit disappointed. Maybe I am not fate to find love? Who knows? I gave up after my last year in university. I am already 23 years old. Too lazy to find love, too busy to search for it. It'll work out on its own..

Author's Pov

     "oi Rin! EARTH TO RIN?? RIN!!!" it's been 5 minutes since Claude trying to get Rin's attention. Already giving up, Claude slaps her shoulder harshly, looking like he wants to pick a fight with her. Rin woke up from her daydream and turns to Claude with a menacing look. "What do you want? It better be important or else I'll snap your figurines in half" scowl Rin. Claude grimace at the thought of his favourite waifu being snap in half and hit Rin again, this time with a playful smile. "take a chill pill, man. I was gonna ask you about the deadline. The boss has been asking all morning about the new update on the game". "yeah yeah, I've sent it to him. Don't worry." Rin answer unnerving. "Hmm good. I thought you're gonna slack again. Then, let's get lunch. Where you wanna go?" asks Claude. "I feel like shit rn. I have no appetite. I'll just buy some coffee and creampuffs from that bakery. You can ask someone else to accompany you". "alright then, I'll ask boss instead." Rin just chuckle from the fact that Claude is treats their boss as a friend rather than being scared of him. Not a shock to Rin if they told her that they were actually dating this whole along.

Timeskip to bakery

        Rin steps into the bakery, basking in the fresh scent of bread being baked that flowd through the air. "I love this smell. It brought me back to the time when she used to buy creampuff for me every friday." Rin thought to herself. She starts to browse through the aisle of delicious looking pastries searching for the one she always loved. Her eyes dart to the one section of the bakery that she recognize since she entered. The creampuff section. Her walks fasten and as she was about to reach to the plain vanilla puff, another hand touches hers. She looks up and there she was, her first love. "Laire?" Rin whisper warily. The women darts her eyes towards Rin, "Rin?? OMG YOU'RE RIN,RIGHT?" the voice echoes through the bakery inviting some glaring eyes towards them. "oops sorry." she apologetically bowd towards the other customer and gave her attention back to Rin who was looking pale.
