I know what it means
this peace
this serenity
it is a remedy to the trials of life
as my life essence glimmers
their shadows glare in their souls as darkness unfolds
it is in the dead of night that they awaken
the impenetrable darkness
our lives are filled with strife
for those that hold the knife that is
for we lack the endurance to reach for the golden horizon coming off of the celestial sea
the darkness will be diminished
that is what he tells me
the keeper of eternity
