Nishinoya lays in his bed with one arm draped over his eyes, the other holding onto his phone.
He's bored. So, horribly, bored. Originally, he didn't think being suspended would be too bad. But after suffering through a week without seeing his best friend or playing volleyball, the situation was starting to take a toll on his motivation to simply move.
"Graaaaaaamps!" The boy whines from his bed, catching the attention of his relative passing by his room.
"What do you want?" The elder man grumbles at his lazy nephew.
Nishinoya pouts. "I'm bored."
"THEN GO AND DO SOMETHING YOU CHICKEN!"
With that, Nishinoya is officially kicked out of the house for the day, only having permission to return if he bought everything his grandpa put on a shopping list. He silently prays for extra change so he could buy a treat for himself.
He isn't completely upset about the situation, just annoyed that he has to leave the comfort of his home. When he sought out his grandpa, he was expecting the old man to do something with him, not exile him.
His mood picks up the more he walks, and he soon finds himself trying to run faster than the cars that drive past him. The drivers stare at him as he runs, but that doesn't stop him. He ceases his running when he arrives at the store, completely out of breath. He doesn't even know where he is, how stupid. At least he has his phone to find his way back home.
