Origins

A game. A simple game, at that, not hard to play, but hard to beat. All I ever wanted to do was to beat this game, to show the world that Lex Martin had what it takes too. To Lex winning was the only thing that mattered. But it wasn't just simply that he wanted to win, but rather to show everyone else he was a winner too. Specifically his family.

In the year 2125, America was a victorious nation, not only, because of her technological advances, but her peoples conquering as well. A hundred years earlier the U.S. decided in order for the other nations to cooperate with them, tyranny was the best choice. So the military and government took it upon themselves to vanquish Canada and South America. Therefore creating the Ultimate United States. As a privilege, the Ultimate United States (UUS) has gotten access to more technological materials from expanding their territory. From this they were able to establish the VRGS, the virtual reality gaming system.

No game system can ever top this since in fact its freaking awesome. The creators of the system were Zachary Figgis and George Bolt, geniuses in the making. No one really knows how they did it, where they got the materials, but upon getting their new invention patent and selling it to a major gaming company they became rich. Everyone knew their name and if you didn't then you mines well have been considered an outcast. The VRGS was a huge hit everyone loved it, because it was cheap and lasted a long time. But why most people really love it, because it allowed you to go INSIDE the actual game.
And that's why Lex loved it so much everyday he would come home after school simulation, ignore his family and hop right in. Feeling the sensation of artificial wind in your hair and the smell on created weathering and the detailed scenery. Yeah it was amazing, Lex thought dreamily. There weren't many games for this system, but the most popular one was Galaxy TC 5 and Lex was a pro.
