SOPHIE'S POV
I ran to my mom right after I had won my basketball game like I always have. When I came home I saw my mom laying on the floor with a puddle of blood right next to her she had one last breath. "Trust no one. " I look up stairs and I see a shadowy figure staring right at me. Mouthing the words "your next." I woke up to my mother calling my name "Sophie time for school." I ran down stairs to give my mother a big bear hug thank god that was all a dream.
I brushed my teeth put on a blue hoodie and jeans that were way to tight I felt like someone was strangling me. I rushed down stairs with no time to spare I gave my mom a kiss and ran to the bus stop where my best friend Avery was standing. "Thanks for waiting"
" No problem" We both got on the bus and headed to Hampton high school. We walked inside and went to our lockers got my math book and so did Avery. We had all the same classes together how lucky is that.
