the loss

"Wait"...stella stop as tears started filling her eyes "You have to be kidding,what do you mean" Stella added

"I'm so sorry ma'ma but i can't tell you anymore until you come down to the station" the officer said "but we believe it's your aunts remains we found" 

Stella couldn't say anything but stand there in shock for about 10 seconds until her phone fell out of her hands and she dropped to the floor and screamed in pain and started sobbing.Kelly heard her screams and immediately rushed to the room to see Stella on her knees crying,he pulled her to his chest as she sobbed in his arms

"hey,hey,hey,shh." Kelly said in a soft voice "What's wrong babe" Kelly asked concerned,Stella tried to say something but was starting to hyperventilate.

"Stell,take a deep breaths." 

"One...of my aunts is dea-dead" she managed to let out but then started crying again.Kelly heard those words come out her mouth and felt a sad wave hit him.

"I'm so sorry baby" Kelly said in a low soft voice and just sat there for about 10 minutes until Stella fell asleep in his arms.He manged to carry her to their bed and cover her up.He got in bed and pulled her to his chest and played with her hair and rubbed her back.

It's been 10 days since Stella lost one her aunts and today is the day she is being buried.Stella is taking this loss the hardest because she loved her aunt but all at the same time thankful she at least still has one other aunt and a uncle.

Stella was getting ready in the bedroom when she stop and just stared at the mirror as her aunts voice started going into her head "I love you Stell,forever my niece.I'll say hello to your mom and dad for you.Stay strong baby girl.We will meet again someday,I promise" Stella heard in her aunts voice but then Kelly walked into the room to see her just standing there 

"Stell" Kelly said trying to get her attention but couldn't "Babe" Kelly said and then walked over to Stella and pulled her into his arms.

"It's gonna be hard,I know.But you aren't alone.You have me and everyone at the firehouse who some love you like a daughter and some love you like a sister.You arent alone"

"I know,I just wish life wasn't so hard and painful" Stella said fighting back tears.

"I know babe.I'm so sorry you have to go through this" Kelly said back as he rubbed her back.

"I-" Stella started to say But was to scared too. "Never mind" 

Kelly looked at Stella confused but just brushed it off 

at the funeral service everyone that was close or knew Stella's aunt showed up to pay their respects,then it was time for Stella to come and say her last goodbye to her aunt...

"Life without you aunt Zia will be hard,but I will always remember the aunt you were when you were here on this earth." "I know one day we will meet again but until then i'll keep my head up and stay strong knowing you'll be up there smiling down on me" Stella read her letter for about 15 minutes and then   pallbearers carrried aunt Zia's coffin to the hearse.About a mile cars followed the hearse where Zia is going to be laid to rest.Then at 12:15pm,Zia's coffin went into the ground.

a few hours later everyone had left the graveyard and went home,Stella however was quiet all the way home and Kelly knew that she was suffering.As soon as they got home Stella went into the bedroom and took off her makeup,put her hair up into a messy bun and changed into sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

"Oh hi Kelly" Wendy said coming out of the guest room

"Hi" Kelly said fast

"Where's Stella" Wendy said thinking she wasn't home

"In the bedroom,I'm about to go cuddle her to comfort her" Kelly said back 

"Oh" Seager said "Never mind"

Kelly started walking away but stop and turned back around "Look Wendy,I know the only reason you probably moved in is because you like me and want to have sex with me.But I'm taken and i'm not about to go off and cheat on the women I absolutely adore and love.So get over me and stop trying to make me like you" Kelly said pretty proud of himself 

"Ya.I do like you Kelly.But please mayb-" But seager couldn't finish her  sentence.Kelly walked into the bedroom to see Stella had cried herself to sleep and was knock out.He took off his clothes and put sweatpants on and no shirt on.He turned off the lights and got into bed and covered him and Stella up before pulling Stella to his chest and he rubbed her back.

"I love you baby girl" He gave Stella a kiss on the forehead.Then 10 minutes later he fell asleep with Stella in his arms.
