alex woke up to the sound of the shower starting, he opened up his eyes and immediately groaned. remembering what day it was.

a few days ago momo got a call from his grandmother, saying that his cousins graduation was coming up and he needed to go, made this whole big thing that they'd be very disappointed, of course momo and alex spent the few remaining days together. but alex felt like he really couldn't enjoy it knowing momo was gonna be gone. he was only gonna be a gone for a week or so, but it's just sad and scary bc momos gonna be so far from him.

his thoughts were interrupted by momo coming out of the bathroom with a pair of pink shorts on and a tight black short sleeve shirt. he looked at alex and started rubbing his bicep with a smile.

"good morning handsome" he kissed his forehead "todays the big day" alex got up and rubbed his eyes
"don't remind me."

momo got changed and started fixing up his bag before his cab got here, catching a glimpse of alex sitting down beside him looking like an abandoned puppy that got kicked and left by its owner.

"don't look so sad" momo said, not staring at alexs face bc he might just tell the cab to fuck off so he could stay with his boyfriend

"i'm not sad" alex said, his voice giving away the fact that he was actually sad "it's just..."
he didn't continue and momo let it be.
"i'll be home before you know it i promise you"

alex sniffed
"i just wish you didn't have to go at all." momo zipped up his bag and rubbed alexs thigh "i wish i didn't have to go either, or just take you with me"

alex rubbed his face into momos shoulder until they were interrupted by a vibration from momos phone

"oh, my rides here"
alex got up while momo grabbed his luggage
"w-wait already? why'd it have to get here so fast?" alex said while following momo outside, mumbling random words.

once they reached the door momo turned around and was greeted by alex with tears running down his face, his expression not really changing from before.

momo put his hand on alexs face and wiped his tears "don't cry, ok? i promise i'll text you and call you whenever i could, and i'll be home so fast" alex just sniffed and nodded while momo made him bend down so he could kiss him

"be a good boy for me, 'kay?" he said while rubbing his cheek and than turned away to open the door

"i love you" alex said and momo turned around

"i love you so much more" and off momo went, leaving the 6'4 man to stand in the doorway like a dog waiting for its owner.

momo thinking in the car that when he gets home he was gonna spoil his jock.
