You sprinted after sulky Jungwon and eventually caught up to him.

"Jungwon, are you mad or-" Before you could even continue to speak he gave you a peck on your cheek.

"That's for making a joke out of me." he said and you stood there speechless while holding your cheek. "Oh, did I surprise you too much.? I'm sorry." He said and pointed at his cheek. "You can take revenge, if you want." He said cheerfully.

"Oh, shut it." You said and pushed his face away. "I will never worry about you again."

"So you were worried." He said and you felt embarrassed. "No need to deny it. I already know that you do."

"Huh? You're talking nonsense again." You said and went ahead.

"Heyyy waitt." He shouted but you just quickened your path.

"Don't talk to me." you said not even trying to interact with him anymore and stormed off.

While continuing your walk, you kicked a stone down the road. There was a nice breeze while walking and after walking through a small forest you ended up at a fence that stopped you from going further, you decided just to stay there and enjoying the scenery.

Beyond the fence there was a massive grassland and also cattle. You watched them either move or just eat. The breeze was softly swaying and you let out a deep breath.

"I think he went back." You said talking to yourself. Fiddling with your hair, you just let the moment swift. With your fingers you held the cheek that Jungwon left a peck on and you felt a little smile form on your lips.

"Finally, I found you." You suddenly heard behind you and you turned around hastily. You saw Jungwon panting and you just let out a little chuckle.

"So you did follow me." You let out a little sigh but couldn't stop smiling at him.

"Of course, I can't just let you wander around. Sometimes the path change and you will get lost. Many people went through the forest however.. they sometimes never come back. Some say that these stories are made up to keep children away from the forest but you never know." Jungwon said and you thought about it.

"Maybe it's just destiny. Perhaps the path brings you to the thing that you really cherish or to a paradise." You told and Jungwon then smiled.

"Perhaps that's also why the forest let me go after you." He said in cheerful tone and you just chuckled.

"Perhaps. I never got to ask but do you not have anywhere to be? Or any responsibility to take?" You asked and thought about the situation you have to face when you get back from this short trip.

"Well, I do but I make it fun. I have to look after my mother and the people that live here, look after the plants and sometimes I take care of myself by sitting at the lake. There is much to do but recently I have been really slacking off..." He said and sighed laughingly. "Although,,I have been taking care of you." You nodded.

"Right, I have to go back soon. I'm going to be so lonely again. Remember to give me a call sometimes." You said while gesturing a phone. "Now that I think about it, I still have some things to get done. Let's go back before it gets late."
