we walked in the gym. i looked around. it was beautiful. it had this euphoric theme. blake and i walked over to all his friends and their dates.
i knew all of his friends already cause noah is friends with all of them too. i've made friends with all their girlfriends too because of blake.
we all kind of made small talk and danced. you know how proms go.
elle was with lee and rachael. she should've went with noah. i hate how lee took that away from her. noah cares about her a lot.
a while later we were all standing at the kissing booth that they brought out for elle and lee. and then.
noah walked out. i raised my eyebrows and looked at blake with an "oh shit" look on my face. he did the same.
and there it went.
noah stood there. confessing his love to elle. she looked at him. then at lee. back at noah. back at lee. looked at me. then back at noah. and back to lee once more.
"i can't keep hurting the people i love because of you" she cried. "what do you want?" noah said. "i-i want to go" elle said and ran off to
god knows where.
"elle!" rachael called after her and ran to find her. lee rolled his eyes at noah. noah just stood there. he looked at me. "noah it's fine,it's just a girl" i said. "it's not just a girl. it's elle" he said and ran off.
i turned to blake. i was at loss of words. didn't really know what to do or say. "let's go find everyone else" blake said to me. i nodded and took his hand. we walked back to where all his friends and their dates were.
we were dancing and then the head of student council said they were ready to announce prom king and queen.
"the prom king is blake johnson!!" i smiled at him. he let go of my hand and walked up to the stage. they put the crown on him. he stood there smiling at me.
"and the prom queen is emma flynn!!" i smiled as everyone cheered for me. blake was smiling so hard. i walked up there. they put a tiara on my head.
"okay give a few words" the girl said. "um thanks for this" blake said. i laughed. he gave me the mic. "um i didn't know sophomores could win prom queen,but thank you for this" i said with a smile.
everyone cheered for us as we walked to the middle of the floor to have our slow dance.
