⎯⎯ chapter one.

3rd person pov.

"𝐈 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀 has ruined our relationship," Javon said to Selena, who was sitting beside him, rubbing his back in an effort to help him feel better.

Selena replied, "They need to mind their own business because it's not like they ever had a chance with you, the sweet and handsome guy."

"Thanks, Sel, you are the best. You always try to cheer me up, no matter what. I don't know what I would do without you." He replied and laughed.

One of them appears to be in love while the other is unsure. They often make eye contact, giving the impression that they are in a romantic relationship.

"Alright, we gotta go! Your flight leaves in about two hours. Come on, dude, your family is waiting," my older brother Adrian rushed him.

Javon hugged Selena and said, "I'll call you when I arrive at the hotel. Love you."

As he left, she blushed at his seemingly ordinary words, but for her, they left her feeling extremely flushed.

She went to the kitchen counter to retrieve her phone and then made her way upstairs to her bedroom, where she and her friend had said goodbye earlier.

She opened up her phone and went to her messages. She texted her friends Lizzy and Riele.

After mustering up the courage, she decided to share something important with her friends. Her heart was racing as she sent out the text, hoping for a quick response. Her friends immediately replied, eager to offer their love and support.

She told her friends that she wanted to go to Los Angeles where Javon and where they lived. They agreed that it was a good idea and offered to let her stay at one of their houses. They also offered to pay for her flight.

It was now time to tell Selena's parents. They were strict and not at the same time. She hoped they would say yes, and to her surprise, they did if her brother went.

"Can we go to the flight tomorrow at 5:30 am?" Selena asked her mom.

"You and adrian will have to pack quickly today so that you'll be ready for tomorrow. Let's go," her mom said, hurrying her to her bedroom.

Selena was thrilled to share the news with her closest friends. She eagerly informed them about her upcoming trip, and they were all equally excited for her. After the conversation, Selena got right to work. She started packing her clothes and other necessary items into her suitcase, carefully selecting each item with great attention to detail. Once she finished packing, she closed her suitcase and placed it neatly beside her bed. This way, she would be able to get ready quickly when the time came, and her suitcase would already be prepared and ready to go.

After completing her nightly routine of showering, brushing her teeth, and taking care of her skin, she finally crawled into bed. As she laid there, she couldn't help but feel grateful that it was finally summer. Without the warm weather, she knew that none of the exciting things she had planned for her vacation would be possible. She closed her eyes and let out a contented "here i come la!" sigh, feeling relaxed and at peace knowing that she had taken care of her body and mind before drifting off to sleep.

Hello! I know it seems like we are going fast right now but that's so the story includes javon because I don't want half of the book to be without having javon.
