It was a rainy afternoon, wind was blowing as the rain fell from the sky. Everyone was either inside enjoying the nice weather from indoors, or you had your nature loving villagers outside jumping in puddles. You on the other hand was taking a nice stroll through your small forest, getting soaked from the rain. Not that you minded anyways.
You look up at the clouds, seeing it was most likely going to rain for most of the day and maybe the next. You sighed, thinking about the things you had to do. Pick up the weeds, harvest your crops and trees, spoil your villagers. What else? You got lost in thought, continuing to walk.
"Hey, Purrty!" You jumped out of your thoughts, seeing your best friend. "What's gotcha thinking like that?" Katt tilted her head, worrying a bit as her ear flicked. "Ah, you know, just stressing about the island is all." You chuckled nervously. You were notorious about always working and never taking a break.
Katt shook her head. "Nuh-Uh. Today is going to be a break day." She said sternly, crossing her arms. Her yellow eyes focused on you. "On days like this, it's nice to just kick back and relax, (N/N). You're not gonna work." You sighed in defeat, knowing there was no way out of this. You've done been caught by Katt, there was no way of getting out of this. Although, at least you get to spend time with your favorite person! That made you smile a bit, feeling your face heat up a bit.
The feline softly grabbed your hand and led you to your house since it was closer. (And you had more furniture.) Once the two of you got there, she let you open the door as she follows behind with a small purr. You turn on your heater as you go and change into dry clothes.

<~Katt's POV~>

I sat down onto the couch, looking at the TV for a moment before I grabbed the remote and turned it on as I waited for (Y/N) to get back from changing. A small purr began as I focused on watching whatever what was on TV. I enjoyed being around (Y/N), it was refreshing and nice. Ever since they recruited me from an island, we have been inseparable. Some times everyone thought that we were dating!
I chuckled at that, it would be nice to date them, but I highly doubt that they liked me like that. Have you seen me? I'm not that cute, at least that's what everyone else says.. I sighed. I tapped my foot lightly as I felt pressure beside me, seeing them sitting next to me.
"Tada! I'm all dry now. Happy?" They stuck their tongue out at me playfully. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, so now you won't get si-" I was cut off by a sneeze from them. They smiled sheepishly. "I'm sure it's just dust, Katt." They dismissed, smiling. "Let's watch something." Before I could protest they turned on a random show.
I thought for a moment before looking at them, syncing in their features. Their (E/C) eyes, the way that they spark when they're excited about somethin'. It was cute when they got excited and gushed about things they enjoy or love. I didn't notice but they were trying to get my attention.
"Katt?" They called. "Earth to Katt, you copy?" They chuckled, waving their hand in front of my face before I shook out of the trance, feeling myself blush. "You okay?" They asked. I sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck. "Y-yeah.. just thinking." I replied. I stuttered?! I never stutter! I sighed and shook my head.
"I'm gonna be straight with you, Purrty." I began speaking, feeling my heart race. "I.. I like you. I know I'm not the purrtiest cat out there, but I promise to rock your world!" I blushed as I looked at them, waiting for a response. It had fallen silent, I began to get up, but before I could they gently grabbed my paws. "Please don't go." They looked at me, flustered.
"I like you too, Katt. You shouldn't say rude things about yourself. You're about as cute as they come." They gently placed a hand on my cheek. "You're an amazing and cool cat." They said with a small chuckle. "When you moved to (I/N) I was so happy because I could spend more time with you." I smiled, feeling them rub circles on the top of my paws. "I'm truly glad I met you, Katt." They looked at me with a small, shy smile as they gave me a soft kiss on the cheek. I blushed deeply as my tail stood straight, causing them to laugh softly. I could get used to this change, if that meant I get to spend more time and take rad cat naps with them.
