"Good morning, Grandma, may I walk in the woods before breakfast?

"Yes, but be back around 8:00."

"Yes, Gram." I live at my grandparents place. 145 acres of woods, a pond, and a lake, 50 miles from a town. Today the woods seemed to shimmer oddly. It was not scary anymore. I walked in the woods many times while it was shimmering and nothing happened. So I continued to walk down the trail. The woods around me flickered like before except it did not flicker back ,and that worried me a little. I continued to walk hoping it would flicker back, it didn't. Realizing it was not going to change back any time soon, I decided to explore the place I was trapped in. 30 minutes later I came upon a small town. I watched people for a few minutes and noticed that they were dress differently. Realizing I would stick out like a sore thumb, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted and needed.

Quickly going around the edge of town to an ally near a lady selling cloaks. I walked up to her and said," Hi, how much for a cloak?." She looked up a little startled," Oh, two heras for a plain cloak, four for one that has some deceration, and six for a fancy cloak." How long would it take to earn a two heras and where could I get a job," I asked pleasantly. " It will take a day or two, and actually I am looking for help, making cloaks." "Well, I can learn to make cloaks; I know how to sew some, " I stated", Would you hire me?" She looked me over thoughtful, then said," Yes, I will hire you. Not many are willing to learn these days, though I only decided to hire today." "Thank you, and I will learn as fast as I can and help in any other way possible," I said excited. "When do we start," I asked enthusiastically. "Right now," she replied

Three days passed without incident, and I learn to make cloaks quickly. I was always surprising my boss, Serin. She was always saying I made cloaks better than her, though I don't believe her. The fourth day the peace and quiet ended when a carriage race through the main street in town. I was delivering a cloak to a customer when it happen every thing gets difficult to remember. "Get out of the road," I yelled at a girl still in the middle of the street. I ran to her, because she did not notice her danger, and pushed her out of the way. I had no time to run out of the way and without thinking jumped into the air flipping backwards, a second later the carriage went flying under me. A second later I landed on the ground shaken. Serin ran from behind the line of hanging cloaks in front of her house a worried expression on her face. "Are you alright," she asked near crying. "I am fine," that reassurance calmed her. While this was going on no one noticed that the carriage had stopped and a the person got out.
