He looks confused and handsome at the same time. And all we see is 👤
Previously:
"So now what do we do?" "Well this is something I can do alone," Gin said, "but I'd like your company." Did I see a smile. In the end there was a hundred dollar bill left . . . Both our hands touched it. I felt my heart beat strange, when I looked up her cheeks were like the sunset. I looked down, now my face felt hot, I moved my hand so she could take the money. "What do you want, Gin?" "I need your help . . . Again."

Gin's POV: (basically where we left off in the last chapter)

"Maybe you should just tell her how you feel." "Maybe I should just shoot you in the head," I said. "Hmm, typical Gin, always threatening someone, maybe Raven finds that attractive," Sherry said. "Lay down, Gin, I think I can help." "Hehe, and I thought we were over," I said. Sherry took the cigarette I had and put it in an ashtray. "Do you want my help or not?" "Yes." "Then shut up and wait here," she said. I waited, but I got so bored I lit the last one I had. "Ok so I guess you're not laying down." Sherry sat across from me. "Ok, Gin I'm gonna need you to describe Raven in your perspective, like how do you feel when you see her." I don't know how this is gonna help but ok. "Beautiful hair that's the same color as her code name, violet eyes that look like the sky after a sunset, and a smile that looks like it doesn't belong at the Organization." "Alright—and I cannot believe I'm saying this—her fashion sense," Sherry said. "She puts black and white to shame, and if she'd wear anything colored, it'd be green, purple, and red," I said. "Hmm, she almost sounds like you." "Really, because Chianti said I need to fix my wardrobe." "Ok moving on, what about how she fights and shoots?" "Let's just say fighting, I don't stand a chance, and shooting . . . I just taught her how to use a sniper like six hours ago." Everything I told Sherry she wrote down. "Are we done here, therapist?" "Not yet, just one more . . . How do you feel when you see her?" That one was hard to explain, I kept letting out smoke and just seeing her.

"I don't know how I feel about her, Sherry, one minute it's this the next it's that." I put the cigarette out. "Hmmm, I think I've got an idea," she said.

Alianna's POV:

All night I've been thinking about Gin, where would he take me for a date at a bar? I was so distracted I almost fell out the elevator. When I got into my office I couldn't believe what was on my desk—I shut the door to make sure no one saw them. A bouquet of white roses. A letter was attached to the black ribbon.
They didn't have flowers to match your eyes so I went with these, I hope you like them—Gin.
"So do you like the flowers or the letter more? Because you keep staring at it." He came in his usual self. "I love them," I said. "Yeah, well try sneaking them in by being the first person to arrive." "Well you succeeded," I said.

🥃🖤alright lunch time🖤🥃

"He brought you flowers," Sherry said. "Yeah . . . Hey, Sherry I know you're good at science but how are you at therapy?" She got her notebook and pencil out. "Talk to me, describe how you feel about Gin." I looked up like this was some fairy tail. "Don't mind the hair—that's kinda one of the things you notice first about him—his eyes . . ." I jumped back. "Ok you gotta get used to them, but I like those green eyes, they're getting soft around me. By the way you notice the scar close to his left eye." "That's a story he'll have to tell you himself," Sherry said. "Now his wardrobe?" "Don't mind, but I just can't forget how handsome he looked on that date," I said. "What about his weaponry?" I shrugged, "a gun and a sniper, now I know how to use both," I said. "How do you feel when you see him?" I had to look back and put the times with him in order, including that night at the bar. "I feel safe, but the closer he gets the faster my heart beats, sometimes I feel warm inside." "I see." I told her about the flowers today and she promised not to tell. "Sherry, should I wait for him to tell me or vise versa?" "Knowing Gin, it'll take him a while, if you wanna do it wait for the right time."

Sherry's POV:

I looked at what they both told me, and it just doesn't make sense. They're complete opposites, how can they have feelings for each other. "I guess the heart wants what the heart wants."

🥃🖤three days later🖤🥃

Gin's POV:

Meet me under the cherry blossom tree by the river before sunset, there's something I have to tell you—Alianna.
I don't know how she got a letter in my car without me knowing, but she's good.
I got to the river but I don't know how I was gonna find her.

There were soo many trees, how would I find her. "Guess I'll just have to look around."

🌸the seventh tree🌸

I found her asleep with a few cherry blossoms in her hair, and honestly, she looked beautiful. "Alianna, Alianna wake up." Her eyes opened slowly.

Alianna's POV:

That hair . . . a cigarette . . . those eyes. "Gin?" "The one and only," he said, "now don't move, you've got flowers in your hair." He actually picked them out—well about five of them but whatever. "Need a hand?" A lift up with one pull, how strong is he? Gin passed me down the flowers, "Alianna what is it that you have to tell me?" The sun was setting, it was time. I went down to the river and put the flowers in. "Gin, ever since that date you've been nice to me, I feel safe around you, and well, I can't get you out of my head." I felt like my cheeks were turning cherry blossom pink. "What I'm saying is . . . I love you, Gin."

Gin's POV:

She shot me with the L word, I had to think fast. I threw my cigarette in the river, "you could have any man in the Organization, why choose me?" "You said I'd be safe when I went to your place, and ever since then I felt safe around you. And I know you won't admit it but you worry about me." ". . . If you're with me you'll get hurt," I said. "I've felt worse pains." "I'm dangerous." "There are worse dangers then you in the world," she said. She wanted an answer . . . I guess I have to tell her the truth. "Alianna, that night at the casino when I saw you dancing, I couldn't take my eyes off you, then at night I regretted not telling you my name, and I wish you'd have told me yours because then I'd have some way of finding you." She played with her hair. "What are you saying, Gin?" I took her hand and my other went behind her back, bringing her closer. "I love you too."

Alianna's POV:

I felt paralyzed, "I never thought I'd hear you say those words." "Neither would I," he said, "and if that's not enough proof for you." His hand went to my cheek. "I hope this is." He tilted my head up a bit and kissed me.
It's just like I imagined, cigarettes and liquor, I couldn't fight it, no I wouldn't fight it. I just put my hand on his heart that was beating fast like mine. When we separated I felt woozy, like what just happened might be a dream, but when I could finally see . . . "It's you from that night, Gin, my man in black." "Same to you, Alianna," he whispered in my ear, "my lovely assassin." He picked me up. "Wh-where we going?" "Dinner at my place," Gin said.
