"Wait a sec. How big?" Steve asks Dustin.

"First it was like that. Now he's like this." Dustin says showing him.

"I swear to God, man, it's just some little lizard, okay?"

"It's not a lizard."

"How do you know?" Steve asks.

"How do I know if it's not?"

"How do you know it's not just a lizard?" He asks Dustin.

"Because his face opened up and he ate my cat."

Steve shrugs.

Steve pulls up to Dustins house and grabs his bat.

"I don't hear shit." Steve says.

"He's in there." Dustin says referring to the storm shelter.

Steve thought it was a prank.

"You got a key for this thing?"

Steve opens the trapdoors.

He slowly walks down the stairs. He picks up some of his skin.

"Get down here." He shows the skin then the tunnel that dart made to get through.

"No way."

"To taking down the man." Murray says holding up his drink.

"To taking down the man." Both Nancy and Johnathan say.

All three lift up there drinks and take a chug

"Comic bastards sure know how to make a spirit. Am I right?"

"Oh,no,no,no,no. We... we can't." Nancy says stopping him from pouring a drink.

"Yeah, no. No, I've got to drive."

"Drive? What, tonight?"

"Our parents..."

"Would be proud if they knew what you were up to. Just tell 'em you're at Tammy's or Dawns or whoever's and take my guest room."

"I mean, do... do you wanna stay?" Johnathan asks Nancy.

"Well, it is pretty late."

"Okay. Uh... could I use the sofa?"

"Okay,I'm confused.What's going on here? A lovers quarrel?"

"No, no. I mean we're just friends." Johnathan says.

"Friends. Yeah." Nancy agrees.

Murray laughs, leaving the teens in confusion.

"You've told me a lot of shockers today, but that, that is the first lie."

"It's not a lie." Nancy tells him.

"No? You're young, attractive. You've got chemistry, history, plus the real shit, shared trauma. Trust issues am I right?"

"Something to do with your dad." Murray says.

"What? No, I mean, my dads-"

"An asshole." Nancy finishes for him.

"Hmm. It is a curse to see so clearly. You, you're harder to read. Probably, like everyone, afraid of what would happen if you accepted yourself for who you really are and retreated back to the safety of... Name? Name?"
