I had been traveling for a long time without stopping, i only slept on busses I took for short time. Right now I had just got off one and had saw a small shop and decided to go buy something since it had enough money for one snack and drink, I walk inside and looks round and made my way to snacks and drinks and pick (y/f/s/d) (your favorite snack and drink). I walk up to the counter and see a guy with a shaved head and beard.

Guy: Aren't you young to be here along?

Karma: *Silence and just staring plainly*

Guy: Not much of a talker are you

I shake my head as he scans my items, I went to pull money out when he stops me and hands me a note pad and pen like he knew I wouldn't speak.

Guy: Never seen you around here what's your name?

Karma: Karma Ellis, I'm mute

Fezco: I'm Fezco, mind telling me why you don't talk?

Karma: My dad punched me in my throat and damaged my vocal cords

Once I headed him the note his eyes went wide and mouth went into O shape. He looked at me and I can see anger in his eyes.

Fezco: So you can't talk because your had did that

I nodded and I can sense his anger growing and got a little scared but I think he notice and calmed down.

Fezco: Sorry, I just ain't a big fan of abuse especially when it causes this much damage to a young kid like you.

I just nod and he seemed to like about something before gently taking my shoulder and pushes me lightly to this fridge and opens it and I see a kid around my age eating cereal but he seemed serious and kinda scary but kinda attractive but I didn't show it on my face how I felt.

Boy: Who this?

Fezco: Karma, she gonna be staying with us

Boy: What the hell you mean she gonna stay with us?!

I look down I didn't know this is what Fezco was gonna do and it was nice of him but I felt like this would cause problems. I tap Fezco and shook my head as if telling him no it's okay and immediately turned around getting anxious and embarrassed, and I walk out the fridge and speed walk out not caring for the stuff I wanted.

The girl shakes her head at my bro and then quickly walks out and I felt a little bad since she was about my age and kinda cute but she was a stranger and we fucking sell drug, we can't be having police knowing about us.

Fezco: Ash, What the fuck?!

Ashtray: What!? She's a stranger and we can't have no police finding about us!

Fezco: She wasn't gonna say shit!

Ashtray: How you know!?

Fezco: Because she's a run away and her vocal cords are fucked up

I looked at him confused and now worry though I tired to hide it.

Ashtray: The hell you mean?

Fezco: She's from a bad family bro, her dad punched her in the throat and fucked up her vocals

I looked at him in shock, now I was upset with my self, she was from a bad family and I understand that.
