Chpt1 - The walk

I walk into my living room to see my dog laying in his dog bed with his head down, "Hey buddy wanna snack?" I said. He instantly got up wagging his tail with his tongue out, he comes running over to me sitting down waiting for a treat. I walk towards the kitchen, opening the cabinet and find the dog food section grabbing the dog treats and throwing a few at Dream.

He catches them in his mouth and chewed them up in a couple seconds. I walk towards the couch and sit down grabbing the tv remote from the small coffee table.
As I'm turning on the tv I see the News talking about the kidnapping of the Omegas.. 4th time today. I roll my eyes switching to different channels, 'I hope someone catches those kidnappers soon' I think to myself, as I'm switching the channels I glance over at Dream to see his head down whimpering.

"Dream. They're going to catch them, calm down" He whimpers even more as I try to comfort him. "sigh.. let's go for a walk? That should make you feel better!" I say, he jumps up wagging his tail running over to the hooks that holds the leash. I walk towards the door putting my jacket and shoes on then, grabbing the leash hooking it on Dream's collar then grabbing my keys.

We walk down 3 blocks to the dog park, the best part about it is they have an inside and will take care of your dog for free! We entered the building and I unhooked Dream's leash and signed the papers near the desk then left.

I figured I'd go to the PetSmart to get more dog food, as I'm walking I take a turn and hear strange noises.. 'dogs?..' I turn back following the animal sounds to an alleyway..

The black market

I walk into the alleyway filled with purple fog and I notice there are hundreds of animals here! Heads of animals hung on walls, animals whimper in cages.. 'what is this place!?' I start walking a little faster getting traumatized till I see the deals. I walk over to a crowd with yelling people bidding for an animal!?

"300!!" I hear someone say "600!" I start walking closer to see a black cat backed in a cage with fear in its eyes. "Sold for 2,000!" I hear a man say and without thinking I said "4,000!" Everyone gasps as I see the man say "sold for 4,000!" Everyone starts leaving and the man walks up to me and holds out his hand "money" the man says with his mysterious unknown face, the deep voice gives a shiver down my spine. I instantly hand him the money and he hands me the cage with the now panicking cat. And don't ask me why I had 4,000 dollars in my pocket.

I run out of the alleyway trying to catch my breath sitting the cage down with the meowing cat that sounds hurt, I didn't have a car so I had to use a shortcut to get home.

I finally get home and set the cage down on the floor then unlock it, I basically forgot about Dream so I left as quick as I can and walked the same way as I did last time. I finally get to the dog park and pick up Dream who looks really happy with his tail wagging. 'I guess he forgot about the News finally' I think to myself, I hook the leash to his collar and walk home feeling a bit guilty for going in that alleyway.

We get home and walk into the silent house, I unfasten Dream's leash and place it on the hook "I have to get to PetSmart Dream, be good and don't do anything bad" Dream stares at me with a confused look and I turn around and leave.
