I smiled at my phone and got out of bed. I had just woken up and seen Aryan's message. "Morning sweetheart, I hope you slept well" I put my phone away after replying him. My heart skipped a beat when I remembered last night's events.

I took a shower and got ready, I wanted to explore Dubai today since it was my first time there. I got out of my hotel room in casual wear when I saw Suhana in the lobby.

I figured if I had amended things with Aryan, I should do the same with her. "Hi" I flashed her a warm smile and I could see relief wash over her. "Hii" she said very excitedly. "So what are you up to today?" I don't know why but it was getting awkward. "Nothing really, just came here to hand over a file on behalf of mama"

I nodded before asking her, "I was going to do some exploring" She laughed and replied, "you should probably go with a guide, you have a history of getting lost" It was really nice talking to Suhana again.

"Would you mind?" "Not at all" and before I knew it she pulled me in for a hug. "I'm so sorry. I missed you so much" I know she did so I smiled and hugged her back.

It took us less than 10 minutes to be our old selves again. Suhana showed me around since this was basically her second home.

We roamed around and talked about so many things that had happened in the past five years. We took a bunch of pictures, the beautiful scenery around us made our pictures look really aesthetic.

We were sitting in a park with ice creams in our hands watching families go by. I saw a couple walking by and immediately thought of Ahaan, "omg!" Suhana jumped at my sudden reaction. "Oh sorry sorry, I just remembered something. What happened with you and Ahaan?"

Suhana's smile dropped. "We're not together anymore" I tensed up a little. "Are you guys still.." "yeah we're still friends... sort of... Bhaiyya was right, let's just leave it at that"

I didn't really know what to say, I just felt really bad, I knew she loved him a lot so it must've been hard. "Sue you know I'm here if you want to talk about anything"

She placed her hand over mine, "I know Zee, this was just a long time ago. It's been four years, I don't really want to talk or think about it anymore" I nodded and decided to change the topic.

We sat there for an hour or so before Suhana's phone started vibrating. She answered, "yes mama?... oh ya I gave it already don't worry... mhm...sure but I'm with Zoya right now.. oh we're just at a park.. okay I'll ask her.. bye bye"

I turned to her, "ask me what?" "If you want to have dinner with our family today" "oh that's so sweet. Of course" "Great it's mama's birthday so there might be a few more people"

I realised that if it's her birthday I should probably get her a gift. "Hey can we go back to the hotel, I have to finish up some work" Suhana agreed and sent me back before heading home.

I called Rhea to my room and told her I had selected the gift for Gauri Khan already but I just needed her to pick it up, along with some flowers.

I then decided to pick my outfit, before getting ready. I wasn't just going to Gauri Khan's birthday, this was Aryan's mother and I needed to make a good impression.

Rhea walked in with the gift and the flowers just as I finished putting on my heels. After 3 hours, I was finally ready. "This isn't too much right?" "nope"
Rhea replied simply and that made me panic, "too little??" Rhea laughed and shook her head, "no no it's perfect" I let out a sigh of relief before taking one last look in front of the mirror.

The guard at 'jannat' let in my car along with a couple of others. This is suppose to be a small dinner party? I was so glad I dressed up properly.

My driver opened the door for me and I stepped out with the gift in one hand and the flowers in the other. I walked into the house giving small smiles to anyone who made eye contact with me.

I spotted Gauri Khan greeting her guests and went up to her. "Happy Birthday ma'am" "Thank you my dear" She embraced me into a warm hug and complimented my outfit. I thanked her before asking her where Suhana is and she directed me to her.

I handed her the flowers and the gift which she accepted with a smile, "go ahead, have some fun" I nodded and walked towards Suhana. Suhana was dressed in all black as well just like Gauri Khan and I got to say she looked absolutely gorgeous.

"Hey cutie" I hugged her from behind and she squealed. We noticed a bunch of people had turned their attention towards us and we burst out laughing. "You two will never change" Ahaan walked up to us from behind and I immediately hugged him.

"Hey look I'm re–" I interrupted him, "nuh uh enough of that" I wanted to leave it all in the past. He smiled at me and asked me how I've been. The three of us walked into a separate room where I was greeted by the rest of the gang.

I had really missed all of them and they really did feel very guilty. "Omg omg we should totally play truth or dare again like we did the first night we met Zoya" Ananya said excitedly. "But Navya and Aryan are not here" Shanaya pointed out.

"Oh Ibrahim is bringing Aryan" Ahaan mentioned. "And Navya" I said awkwardly. Navya and I weren't on best terms even before the whole incident. "Erm Navya is in India right now, she had work to do" I nodded slightly at Suhana's answer.

Before it could get any more awkward, Ibrahim and Aryan walked in. Ibrahim kissed me on the cheek and took a seat and Aryan sat down right next to me and snaked his arm around my neck. "Excuse me, I'm sorry did I miss something" Nirvaan asked but neither of us answered, instead we just smiled.

"...Alright then shall we start" "start what" Ibrahim asked. "Truth or dare" Aryan and Ibrahim groaned. Suhana interrupted and suggested, "aight aight how bout never have I ever?"

Everyone agreed and we almost started playing but we were interrupted, "come on peoples time to cut the cake" Abram dragged us downstairs excitedly, he really wanted the cake.

"You really were great. You have a lot of potential as a model" "Thank you so much" I was talking to a known designer at GKD. Gauri Khan was personally introducing me to everyone.

"I can really tell why you were chosen to model", the man continued. I was so honoured. "Your parents must be so proud" And that was it. That was the end of my happiness.

The second he said that all the memories flowed in, the fights, the disagreements, their disappointed faces, everything. I quickly excused myself and walked upstairs. I didn't know my way around so I just kept walking till I found a corner and immediately broke down.

I had my head buried in my lap as I sat on the floor, sobbing as quietly as I could. I could barely breathe which caused me to constantly gasp for air. My makeup was probably in a mess and my outfit was fully crumpled. I probably looked like a mess.

I felt a hand being placed on my head lightly and I slowly looked up to see who had found me in this state. Gauri Khan had followed me up out of concern.

She immediately pulled my head into her lap and started comforting me. She gently grazed her fingers through my hair and patted my head lightly as I cried in her lap uncontrollably. So much for an impression.
