What...was that?..

He shot up in bed, hands gripping his blankets as he peered around the room, shaky breaths escaping him as he searched for the source of... whatever it was he heard. He slowly got out of bed, shivering as the cold shot up his spine. "God.. I hate weird noises. I--" He was interrupted by a loud bang and cry downstairs, he jumped, covering his mouth and rushing to his door. Closing it quickly as the cry ceased, he opened up his closet, crawling into one of the smaller cabinets. Even he didn't think he'd be able to fit, so he was slightly surprised. He couldn't breathe that well in here, with the door fully closed. He opened it slightly, watching his bedroom door closely so he could see what was in his house.

The creature clawed at his door, not seeming to know how to open it. He was-- kind of relieved, only for a few seconds though. The door was kicked open, a tall, seemingly pitch black creature that stood at 10ft tall burst in. It had a disproportionate body, very long arms and legs and a short-ish torso. He covered his mouth, watching from his hiding place, keeping his breathing as shallow as he could. The monster peered over in his direction. Shit! Had he been too loud? Had the monster noticed him? It didn't seem too, at least for now.

He decided to be extra careful, pushing himself further into his hiding place, letting out quick and shallow breaths as he looked at the monster directly. It let out a growl, peering around, seeing the closet and rushing over, checking the bigger area; though.. it didn't seem to notice the smaller cabinets on the bottom. He saw it's leg, it looked-- disgusting. Flesh bond together with more flesh in an-- inhuman way. The male covered his mouth, letting the creature claw and rip up anything it desired in his closet, trying to stay as quiet as possible. The creature backed up, letting out a shriek of anger before rushing out of the room. He heard it rush downstairs, signaling he could take some time to breathe. He panted softly, taking in as much air as he could.

He slowly crawled out of his hiding spot, peering around the room carefully, before making any abrupt movements. He didn't see it, so he made his move to the door, peering out quickly to see if anything was there. Luckily, for him, nothing was there. At least for now. He let out a quiet breath, slowly making his way out of the room and into the hallway, which was now bare and covered in claw marks due to the creature. He peeked downstairs, seeing it going haywire at anything it could. He sighed, making his way to the guest room.

"What the fuck is that thing?" He muttered to himself, staring at the floor and trying to piece together WHAT it could possibly be. Nothing came to mind. At least, nothing human or animal. He knew it had to be some sort of-- demonic creature. But what? It didn't look like an average demon, it didn't look like anything that he'd seen. Or even known of. He sat back, hands clenching into fists. He grumbled at himself, how could he be so-- DUMB?! He didn't do enough research, He felt like he didn't know enough anymore. God, [REDACTED] this was not the time to overthink knowledge! He nodded in agreement with his sudden thought, then freezing. "Where the fuck did that come from?" He spoke almost silently, but apparently just a bit too loud. The monster let out a loud shrill, almost deaf bringing. The male let out a silent cry, covering his ears and curling up. He opened a small drawer, somehow fitting inside. Well, either it was be uncomfy for who knows how long-- or death. So, he chose to be uncomfy till this thing left his house. Or would HE have to leave the house? Who knew. I guess time would say.

Would he have to kill this thing? Come up with a way to get it out? Right now, he didn't know anything. It, truthfully, was scary. He didn't even know what to do then and there. All he knew was that he had to hide. He was scared, he didn't know what to do. Well, what he could do it lure it out of the house. He had a radio in his room, it's been off for awhile and he knew that the station he listens to he normally has on a rather loud volume. He could open a window, turn it on, change the volume to the loudest it could go and throw it outside. He'd have to be really quick though. He sighed, sitting in the small drawer, waiting for the monster to loose interest in the area.
