0017: Ring

I woke up and no one was sleeping beside me, I checked my phone and it's 7:00 am. I got up and went out of the room. I saw Nina cooking, Vien and Jesi was cleaning. I went upstairs to our bedroom and saw Jungwon sleeping peacefully, I went to our bathroom and took a bath. After that I did my routine, I cleaned and changed the gauze of my wound since we have a first aid kit here at our bathroom. The hand mark didn't disappear, it bruise and it's quite big. I also changed my clothes and I didn't forget to wear a cap. I checked the time and it's still 7:40 am, after getting ready I went downstairs.

All ready? Vien asked, I hummed in response.

Chels come eat breakfast first, Jungwon isn't even awake yet. Nina said

No thanks, I'll just go to school first. Tell Jungwon for me, bye. I said and left

I took a bus to school, I don't want to face Jungwon right now. I know I'll see him at school but I should avoid him for now, right? I arrived at school on 8:15 am even if school starts in 50 minutes.

Jungwon's POV

I woke up but I didn't find Chelsea sleeping beside me, I usually feel her hugging me but she wasn't. I'm not complaining, I actually like that... but she wasn't here last night either. I just shrugged and I went to the bathroom to take a bath.

I finished getting ready and all, I went downstairs and only saw the maids.

Chelsea already went to school. Nina said, I just nodded. I wasn't in the mood to eat breakfast because it's already 8:25 am. I went out of the house and drove to school.

Chelsea's POV

I was just at the classroom with 3 of my classmates. I was on my seat doing nothing, I was resting my head on the table because my wound is stinging when I move my forehead.

Chelsea! Zia called me making me lift my head. I let out a little smile.

Hi. I said

Hmm, something's wrong... I know so, what's with the cap? Zia said

It's nothing. I said

Something is so wrong, come on tell me. I'm your friend. Zia said

Fine, I was... uhm- I was harassed yesterday. I said and Zia didn't seem to believe me.

Stop joking, didn't Jungwon take you home yesterday. Zia said

He didn't, he went to see Seri at the hospital. I said, I heard Zia gasped. She knows what happened yesterday.

Wait so you got harassed for real? Did you get hurt? Did they do things to you? Zia said with worry

They almost did things to me, good thing a bunch of people came. I said

Did you get hurt, hm? Zia asked

Just a little wound. I said

Where? Zia asked, I slowly removed my cap. The wound was so not little but it was covered with gauze so she couldn't see it.

I'll beat up that Jungwon guy. Zia said

Don't, he doesn't even know about what happened yesterday. Don't tell him. I said

What do you mean, don't tell him? You live together, he'll see it eventually. Zia said

I know, just don't tell him. I said, I put my cap back on.

Speaking of the devil. Zia mumbled, Jungwon entered our classroom.

Get up. Jungwon said to me.

Why? I asked

I said get up, we're going to skip school and go to the hospital. You have to apologize to Seri. Jungwon said

What? Why do I have to apologize? She started it first and I didn't anything to her. I said

Don't even try to lie to me, then why would Seri cry on the floor. Jungwon said

She pushed me first, then she started crying. I said, Jungwon sighed before pulling me. He grabbed me by my arms, the same place where the guy grabbed me. He pulled me making me stand up.

Ouch, Jungwon let go it hurts. I said

Stop being dramatic, I'm not even pressing your arms too hard. Jungwon said

Jungwon stop it, she said let go. Zia said as she stood up.

You used to be friends with Seri but now you're defending Chelsea. Jungwon said

I was friends with her, she spent too much time with you that's why she never had time to be with me. It's her fault that our friendship got ruined. Chelsea has been here with me ever since she transferred, I even made new friends because of her. Zia said

But still, you're defending the bad side. Jungwon said

What about you? You're no different, you defending Seri instead of your own fia- whatever. Zia said

Don't you dare say it. Jungwon said, he started to pull me outside of our classroom.

He pinned me to the wall while he grabbed both of my arms as he pressed them really hard. Fuck! Do you know how bad it hurts when you press a bruise.

Ouch! I shouted in pain

Do you see how dramatic you are, this is why nobody likes you. Jungwon said, his words hit me hard.

It brings back the memories where I was bullied and rejected before. Tears started to fall down from my eyes. I removed both of Jungwon's hand on my arms.

I looked at him and I let out a sad chuckle. I looked at my hands, tears continued to fall as I removed my ring. I reached out to hold Jungwon's hand and I placed the ring in his palm.

Here, give this to the girl you love. Don't worry, I'll handle our parents. I'll tell them that I don't want this marriage to happen. I said

Good. Jungwon said, I scoffed.

I wish they would have just killed me last night. I said before leaving, Zia heard our conversation.

Oh fuck, this is why you shouldn't hurt a depressed person. They tend to be sensitive, especially when things happened to them. Zia said to Jungwon

What do you mean things happened to them? What happened to her was when she was in 9th grade. That was so fucking long ago. Jungwon said
