Holes in my body

" Darling!! Dinner is ready!! " my mother yelled. I was reading a book, it was a book about skeletons and fairies and how they ended up being friends. I took a book marker and put it between the pages. I washed my hands and headed downstairs.

My mother said:" Sweetheart, I made you your favourite meal, pancakes. "
I ate so many pancakes, it was delicious. I felt unusual. Something was different, I didn't know why. I felt like there was a huge hole in my head. I thanked my mother for the great meal she made just for me and headed upstairs. 

When I closed the door of my bedroom, I heard a voice in my head. A couple of seconds later, someone came in my room. It was one of the maids, Julianne. She asked:" What is it miss? Is something bothering you? ". I was silent. I didn't think about anything else other than the voice I heard earlier.
