Your POV
You pick up your pace to a fast walk. The footsteps pick up pace too. You start jogging. The footsteps follow close behind you. You see the forest and sprint into it. You don't turn around to see if anything is behind you.
You jump over logs and roots. Your feet crunch the leaves as you run. You feel fear rising inside you. Your heart pounds against your rips, your legs and lungs begin to burn from exhaustion.
You stumble on a root and fall to the ground. You look back for the first time since you left the Pizzeria. In the now dark distance, a man's form can be made out. You take notice to the dark outfit he's wearing. Your eyes widen to realize that the man is wear a purple security uniform.
This was the same man in your dreams...
