I woke up ready to start the day, tired but ready! "Sleepy~" I said as I looked into the mirror. "You look fine, it's cute." Said someone. I turned around and it was my boyfriend, bf/n. I gave him a hug and kissed his cheek.
"I'm so tired.."
"Come on, we have something to do today."
"Really?!" I said with excitement visibly on my face.
"Yes, mí amor. We have our date today!" He said.
After we got ready for our date, we left our shared apartment and went on our way.
"Where are we going, babes?" I asked. "Someplace that's beautiful, for my beautiful girlfriend.~" He answered. I felt my cheeks heat up, "You cornball...thank you." I said with slightly lighter cheeks than usual as I smiled at him warmly. He smiled back at me with such a warm and loving smile on his face, making me smile back even more.
We arrived at a museum, but not just any museum. "You brought me to an art museum?!" I squealed with glee. "Well I know how much you love art just as much as I love you, so I brought you here." He said with smile as he watched me bounce with joy. I've never been to a museum, so him bringing me here made me overjoyed.
After the museum, he brought me to a cafe where we got coffee and sat talking.
"So..this is amazing." I said looking up at him from my cup. "Thank you for bringing me here, mí cariño.~"
"You deserve dates like these, babe. I love taking you out, seeing your smile, admiring your beauty. I love you." He said to me with such love and sweetness.
"I love you too." I said back reaching over to grab his hand.
After our date was finished, it was night and we decided to stop by a park. The stars in the sky were pretty, we sat in a peaceful silence as we held hands ever so gently.
"Thank you for this amazing date, bf/n. Next time, I'm taking you out for a surprise!" I said, determination in my voice as I smiled gently at him.
"As long as I get to spend the day with you, I'm fine." He said as he leaned in, kissing me on my cheek. He backed away and stared into my eyes as we smiled, hugging each other warmly as the night went on.
Once we reached home, we put on pjs, laying in bed facing each other. We crept closer to each other, cuddling while saying goodnight, hoping to wake up next to each other the following morning.
