You talked to me at night
I saw your silent tears and made you smile
I was your light in the darkBut now she's your sun
You get to show her off
There's no need to cry when there's only light
She makes you warm and brightYou traded the moon for the sun
So as she shines I fade awayShe gets to touch you
Something I could never do as the moon
