Appearance: Kala has medium length brown hair that's usually pulled into low pigtails, as well as golden brown eyes and fair skin. She's rather short, being only 5'3, and she's actually rather curvy as well as strong from her time spent working out. She can typically be seen wearing a white crop top, brown shorts, brown boots, and a Boston Red Sox baseball cap.

Personality: Being known as "Little Death," you'd expect Kala to be a ruthless killer like the ones seen in various horror movies. She's actually quite tame behind her nickname, being a rather kind soul with a heart of gold, albeit a bit aggressive when it comes to people catcalling her or touching her. She is deeply traumatized from having had to kill someone in self defense, though.

Likes: Music (particularly rock), baseball and softball, being in the dark, working out, playing sports

Dislikes: Girly things, people betraying her, her past, murder

Backstory: Kala had a normal start to her childhood; her parents were both from Spain, and thus, she was born in Spain. She ended up moving to America with her parents when she was just three years old.
Growing up, Kala was fascinated by baseball, and so she practiced a lot after school. Eventually, she became the first girl on her school's baseball team, and by the time she hit junior high, she was on both the baseball team and the softball team.
In high school, she pushed herself to be a great athlete, while somehow managing to keep up with her studies in the process. Sadly, the road to her being a great athlete hit a snag when she was 17.
A mysterious male lured her away from her walk home after baseball practice, and when they were alone, he attacked her, him having it in his mind that he was going to rape her. Kala panicked and, since she carried a switch blade on her whenever she was alone, she ended up killing the man in self defense. This deeply upset her, and she immediately called the emergency services.
By some amount of sheer dumb luck, mainly due to the fact that there were cameras everywhere, the judge ruled in favor of Kala, believing her to have acted in self defense. When news spread, everyone hailed her as a hero, since the man was apparently a serial rapist, and she earned the nickname "Pequeña Muerte" or "Little Death."
When she graduated, she ended up going to a police academy in a different city, deciding that she wouldn't let anyone get hurt by rapists ever again. In said city, she met her first real friends, Erik and Mona, and the three became inseparable.
Now, Kala is part of the number one precinct in the city, and she's rising through the ranks.
