A Mountains Call

The mountain stands tall
A testament to it all
A mountain protects
Yet a mountain can fall

Some mountains stand against the daily squall
While others stand amidst a ripping of winds so tall
Some reach so far that they grapple with the sky
Others stay low and hug others beside

Each mountain made of stone
Yet hold difference within
Some of iron
Some of gold
Some of passion
Some holed

Many look at the mountains and smile for what they see
Many love the mountain for how they can protect thee

Yet mountains can crack and bleed blood red
Mountains can turn and fall on those instead
Yet few may look and decide to climb
Up the mountain and to their mind
These few see what the mountain see's at all time and even fewer comprehend the thoughts of the mountain that they climb.

So few may travel up the mountain spine
Some never find the path
Others find it every time
As they climb they will notice the things the mountain hides

The cracks that mar
The cliffs oh jagged
The wind so strong
And the snow so cold

Yet they climb giving the mountain company for it vigil ever more
Few may mourn it
And more may hate
The Mountain will stand for that is its fate

A mountain fears of falling and destroying those below
A mountain cries tears of rock following river flows
Yet it restrains because of mourning crows

A mountain stands strong to protect those it may
The weight will crack and few will stay
The mountain alone can only watch with dismay as those it protected left it for nay

Yet still things come and gather below some different from before
Others it may not know
Yet here it is again protecting oh so precious things
So it can hold out again as the one
they look up to and see.
